Taking a trip up the Miners Track from Pen y Pass car park... Stunning scenery... This roadway is used for mountain rescue in 4 wheel drive vehicles to quickly reach the top sections of Eryri (Snowdon). Joins up with the Pyg track and a scramble to reach the top!

Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park has many breeding Red Kites... medium size birds of prey...look out for news of the king of prey... Eagles....young eagles do venture around but as the new name suggests... Eryri...the place of the eagles... We may see fully grown adults.

Great app from National Trust fo find pathways up Snowden... This one is from Beddgelert... Starts from a small car park in the town then heads upwards... Stunning views and down into the town afterwards for coffee and ice-cream

Summer is coming... take a trip to the National White Water Centre in Bala... White water rafting for the adventurous! This sport was created by a young Colonel John Nicholas Blashford-Snell CBE back in the day when he led a command to test out new rafts for the army....the colonel tells me that they dropped him at the source of the Nile and found their way to the delta.....over waterfalls....take in a day of exhilaration... without the pigmy head hunters!
