HONEYMOON DAY 10:

Part 1 - Wild Africa Trek 🦒

This was an add-on activity & I’m so glad we did it! It was a 3 hour behind the scenes tour. We started with the hippo encounter, where we watched a trainer feed the hippos. Next was the crocodiles! 🐊

From there we hopped in a private safari truck and took our time exploring. They brought us over to our own area where we ate the best African snacks & had amazing views of the savanna! 🐘

Private guides, professional photos, and snacks?! We loved it.

HONEYMOON DAY 7:
We rope dropped Hollywood Studios. It was a hot one so we went to the park until around 12 then went back to the resort to swim. We stacked our lightening lanes for the evening came back at 6 for dinner and did every attraction on our list!

We met Darth Vader!

Dinner was at the Sci-Fi Dine In. The theming was cool! It was a nice break from the sun.

Tyler DID NOT enjoy his time on Tower of Terror 🤣 but he quite enjoyed Slinky Dog.

Mousekeeping left the cutest little touches in our room!

HONEYMOON DAY 6:
We spent the day at Animal Kingdom. Festival of the Lion King is back and it’s my favorite show at Disney!

After Animal Kingdom we park hopped to Epcot and ate at the Coral Reef for dinner. The Surf and Turf was great! We loved the view.

On our way back to the resort we watched Luminous and Fantasmic fireworks from the Skyliner!

HONEYMOON DAY 4:
We woke up to the most stunning views! Disney’s Castaway Cay is incredible.

We grabbed breakfast and headed to the beach to snorkel with the stingrays. (SO COOL!!)

From there we took the Tram to Serenity Bay - the adults only area. We had lunch at the buffet and then relaxed at the beach for hours! The water was crystal clear and so nice.

We boarded and showered before going to Aladdin. We were so impressed by the quality of the shows! Definitely one of my favorite parts of the cruise.

We had our last dinner of the cruise at 1923 in Walt’s dining room. The food was incredible, like usual!

HONEYMOON DAY 3
We woke up in Nassau Bahamas. We ate breakfast at Marceline Market and shopped around the port.

Once we got back on the ship we had lunch at Mickey’s Festival of Foods (and of course I got ice cream after). We got back to our stateroom to find the cutest Mickey bandanas for pirates night!

We went to Disney the Little Mermaid and it was incredible. The live entertainment on the ship truly was one of my favorite parts!

We stopped into Hyperspace Lounge for a snack and drinks.

After that we had dinner in Arendelle where Olaf made quite the appearance. They brought us a 2nd dessert to congratulate us on our honeymoon! The service staff knocked it out of the park.

We went back up to the main deck to watch the Pirates Night entertainment (yes, Jack Sparrow was there!). The fireworks at sea were so much fun!

Oh and I won this cute little Pirate Stitch by solving a code 🙂

HONEYMOON DAY 2:
It was a busy one!

I watched Mickey cartoons until Ty woke up (one of my favorite Disney activities). We started with breakfast at Coronado Springs. The two families next to us were also from Vermont!

We used Disney transportation to take us to Port Canaveral to board our cruise ship. The Wish is BEAUTIFUL.

While we were waiting for our room to be ready Ty played basketball in the Hero Zone.

We watched Toy Story from the adults only pool deck. From there we changed and went to the Seas the Adventure show and then the sail away party!

We had dinner in the World of Marvel and saw Spider-Man. Our service staff was phenomenal and the food was incredible.

Our bed was so comfy and our Stateroom host made the cutest little creature! It’s the swan that Ant Man makes. 🤣

HONEYMOON DAY 1:

We flew from Burlington to Orlando. We landed around 10pm and checked into Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

This resort is STUNNING. The rooms were spacious and we couldn’t get over the views. Plenty of food options (even past 10pm) and the cast members were very helpful.

We slept amazing, the bed was SO comfy.

We didn’t explore much, we were pretty tired from the long travel day.

It’s the season for milestones! 🌟

As parents prepare their kids for a new school year, a yellow-backed duiker mom at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is getting ready to share a new milestone with her own daughter, too.

Born in May, Penny has been backstage bonding with her mom Pearl all summer and just made her first appearance on Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail!

Penny’s debut means she’s gaining independence and ready for the next milestone in development, just like the many children gearing up for back-to-school season.

Yellow-backed duikers are naturally shy and reclusive, and moms often hide their young after birth for extra protection. The sweet and tender moments shared between mom and daughter have played an important role in Penny’s big day on Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. 💚
