“Psychedelic” is a word most everyone has heard before, but the term entheogen is one that is new for a lot of people. It can be a little confusing as they sometimes seem to get used interchangeably, and while they do have a lot of overlap, they are not exactly the same thing.

Let’s explore the areas of overlap and divergence to get a deeper understanding of how these 2 words interrelate with each other and the healing journey.

✨ “ … So as soon as you detect confusion, it is the beginning of some kind of message. At least you are able to see your confusion, which is very hard. Ordinarily people do not see their confusion at all, so by recognizing your confusion, you are already at quite an advanced level.
So you shouldn’t feel bad about that, you should feel good about it. You should not be terrified of your confusion, but you should look into it further. You should push into it instead of closing yourself off. In that way, you just keep opening and unfolding, like flowers in the summertime. Even though they are exposed to the weather, to the wind and rain, flowers still keep unfolding themselves, until finally they bloom at their best. You could be like the flowers: you could let the bees sit on you and take your honey away, and that would be fine.You should not take time off from your confusion, or from the inconvenience or embarrassment of seeing that confusion. It is better not to stop, for you are about to see something. If you stop, you stop seeing, so you have to keep going.”

The teacher within reveals itself when we are ready to receive them. We are in a time of transition, a changing of the guards, as a new paradigm emerges. This shift brings us into self-embodiment, where we are invited to listen deeper—listening even when we think we’ve listened enough. It is through this deep listening that the inner teacher begins to guide our next practice and our next prayer.
Instead of looking outward for answers, we turn the finger that points elsewhere back toward ourselves. And in pointing to the self, we encounter a paradox—for the true self is not fixed. When we direct that finger inward, toward the heart, it dissolves through the back, merging into the infinite, into all that is.
Let us activate and align our body, mind, and soul, finding true freedom. And as we tread this sacred path, let us be careful—even of poetry, especially when it’s beautiful poetry Wink.

☀️As we begin to see all the parts, we realize that these parts flow into the river of wholeness. We feel, see, and experience the one living force that is breathed through us, as us. The whole idea of separateness collapses, and we are left open and softened. This is what the great sages talk about: the subject, object, and the act of perceiving become one. This pushes us to the edge of our beliefs, surrendering us into more of the unknown. And in the unknown—the true unknown—there is freedom. We are no longer beholden to our programs, memories, karmas, or anything else that keeps us in this beautiful illusion.

I believe plant medicine and operational alchemy have given us keys to unlock these mysteries and siddhis without sitting in a cave for a thousand lifetimes. In certain paths, they say it can take innumerable lives to get even a little taste of wakefulness, while in others, they say it can be achieved in one lifetime. How about we play with this algorithm a little and use sacred medicine to help us?
