“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”

This quote seems to have been the theme of my life for some time now.

I didn’t have a ton of chances to travel when I was a kid, so I had to resort to the city or the tristate area to get my fix. I think as I got more into plane travel and became financially independent, getting out of my comfort zone kind of became easy to me. I think it’s my fixation with being in new places!

Creating this travel page was also me stepping out of my comfort zone. Becoming a travel advisor while also traveling myself has been truly a gift, and creating a space to share my travels while also connecting with you guys has been a rewarding experience so for me 🤍.

Lately, mine has been Palm Springs! After doing a girl’s trip there recently, I just keep thinking about when I can go back. And making a day trip to Joshua Tree National Park was the best way to end the vacation obviously! ♥️🌵

Have you ever been to a luau? If so, do you think they’re worth it? 🌸

This was taken at the on Maui, which is one of the best (some may argue it’s THE best) luau on the island due to the authenticity, from their storytelling of Hawaiian culture to the delicious food and entertainment.

Pre-COVID, they would serve food buffet-style with an open bar, but now each party gets their own space and food & drinks are served to your table instead! And you can order as much as you want as well.

To be honest we were hesitant in going to a luau because it seemed a little too touristy, even though everyone told us it’s an absolute must when you’re visiting Hawaii for the first time. Was it an experience I would do again? Probably not. Do I think it’s worth it for first-time visitors to the islands? Yes, if you care about entertainment and you’re able to eat and drink A LOT 🤙🏼

🌺 Cost: $229.17 per person, does not include gratuities (it was $180 per person when we booked back in May)
🌺 Duration: Lasts approximately 3 hours, usually starts between 5-6pm and ends by 8 or 9:15pm.
🌺 If you’re staying in the Lahaina area, I would just Uber/Lyft to the entrance because parking can be annoying there!
