Susan's house was the perfect setting for our family vacation to Taos. The house itself is well-appointed, comfortable, and beautiful. Susan went above and beyond to be an exceptional host to make sure we had all of our questions answered. We cooked a Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen--a true rarity for a vacation rental to have a fully functional kitchen. We will have fond memories of our visit in this house for years to come. I can't wait to come back in the summer at some point to take advantage of the gorgeous garden and yard she has. You will not regret renting this spectacular house!

Lots of snow in Taos this week!

It snowed here on Wednesday and we're scheduled for another beautiful snowfall on Monday but for now, nothing but lovely autumn color! With 325 days of sun each year, the frequent snows stay just long enough to be enjoyable!

Looks like winter's coming early to the mesa this year! Lows of 18-21 degrees expected later this week! BRRR!

We love Casa de Taos in winter - even though temps can be low, the sun shines almost every day so it never seems as cold as it is, at least not during daylight hours! And at night, a cozy piñon fire in the wood stove keeps the house toasty warm!
