Last year I won 2 holidays from Ardent World Travel and Tours on destashalize help group. I asked her to book our accommodation for the last weekend in March, last year. She let me know the day we were supposed to leave, that tge hotel had messed up the dates. I received a refund in drips and deabs months later
Later while chatting to friends, we discovered that she had used that excuse that the hotel had messed up the booking quite a few times. In October last year my other friend arrived and checked in at a hotel, only to receive a call from the manager that they haven't received their payment. She had to pay immediately and after the person promised to refund her, she eventuallyrefundedher 5 monthslater. Nadia Van Der Westhuizen
My other friend, Yolanda Bezuidenhout paid her privately for a visa and was given the run around since September, only receiving a refund in middle January. Yolanda was also told that the hotel messed up her booking.
Sylvia Rautenbach had issues with her booking and was eventually refunded.
Tracey Van Biljon was supposed to fly to Mauritius today, but after only receiving 2 x 1 way tickets from this woman, asked her on Tuesday to pay her out the value, in order to make her own arrangements. This woman told Tracey tgat she had made 2 payments yesterday from her capitec account, but to date nothing has been received. She later received a payment for 50% of the value
The accommodation quote sent to Tracey was faked.
Ursula Peffer won a holiday to Sun city and wanted to book for December. The raffler requested that she send the details and Ursula didn't hear from her again. When she commented on Yolanda's post, the admin from destashalize attacked her and told her that she's not responding to the raflers email. This year she claims that Ursula was a no show, admin also claim that she was a no show, but the raffler promises Ursula a pay out.
Another lucky winner got to stay at Sun city over Christmas, only to be told now that the pop that was sent for tge booking was fraudulent. The year was 2023. This has been confirmed with the hotel. The raffler has paid 50% so far.
Rina Mulder and her son and daughter paid for specials she had running on her fb page and she's ignoring them now. When inquiring at the hotel, there's no bookings for them.
It turns out that she is not a registered travel agent and she books accommodation on agoda, as she can cancel up to a certain date, therefore can send the client a confirmation and keep them happy.
A few other people won vouchers for the legacy group, the Sun group and aktv she just simply ignored them. Until we started talking about it. They tgen refunded the ticket price, not the prize value. Maxine Immelman-Venter Zaheera Ismail

Admin had been warned that she was scamming people and they chose to block those complaining and branded them.liars. Many people questioned her pricing, as her profit on some was excess of 50% on some of her international holidays, then on some she was way underpriced and it was to good to.be true.
A lot of people have gone on holidays either paid from other raffles that sold out, some where certain people were sent on free holidays almost every weekend with money received from the raffles but not the actual winners" and some were part of a scam. A scammer will produce maybe 30% delivery to not make it obvious that they scamming and the other 70% lose out.
I eventually got paid out once I started going public.
Lara Buntman booked 2 holidays and heard nothing from lize for a month. She finally received her refund this evening
Francesca Claasen and Maureen Neale won prizes and gave her their choice of hotels and haven't heard from her since 11 January. Maureen also paid for a holiday through her fb page. Both later received a refund
Lizelle Guida Zimmermann also had a bad experience. Her sister, Lucinda Correia, won a weekend to Saldanha Bay hotel, but the raffler offered to send her to lagoon Beach. Raffler was supposed to pay Lucinda out for her meals, this person told her that she did an immediate payment on the Tuesday, but had not been cleared by the Thursday. Lizelle left a message on all the rafflers post telling her to sort it out, causing the raffler to borrow money to pay her
Rebecca Louise Warboys went on a weekend away to Saldanha Bay hotel and shortly after received an email that tge payment was reversed my the raffler. We're not sure of the outcome, as Rebecca referred them to lize.
Christo harmse booked at Palace. She sent him confirmation of the booking. When he called Sun City.. they had no such booking. 3 rooms..

We bought a black Friday voucher from Ardent world travel and tours last November for R700. The voucher could be used at any 3 or 4 star Protea hotel in the country from this year as part of a promotion. She had apprantely teamed up with them as a launch of her new business. Now, I would be first to say 'don't be an idiot, you can't possibly stay in a hotel for the whole weekend for R700' but cause the Owner of this company and I had been in the same Facebook groups and I had seen people winning raffles from her, I was naive and thought it would be fine. Things were Rocky from the start but as we had only planned to use it for our anniversary in March, I wasn't to stressed. I paid immediately and after numerous msgs (most went unanswered) I was told she had booked it. This was the first major warning sign for me as I hadn't even given her our dates or where we wanted to go. Apprantely another Nancy had also booked and she had confused the 2 of us. Perhaps if I had any other name this story could of worked but my name is pretty uncommon. None the less, after more msgs back and forth, I eventually get a booking screenshot and I'm happy. Fast forward abit and I see /hear people having major issues (I won't disclose to much here as those aren't my stories to share). I decide to phone the hotel and check - my booking has been made but not paid. In the mean time, I get added to a group of about 20 people, all fighting for their holidays or refund. I get touch in with her and the story is now that she doesn't pay until closer to the time incase something happens. I'm not thrilled about this but accept it for now. This is about 3 weeks before we due to leave. I phone the hotel every few days to check for updates. Eventually they tell me it has now been paid and they look forward to our arrival. I check back in with the owner of the company and she assures me all is fine (up till the Wednesday before we meant to leave, all is now OK and on track) Thursday eventually rolls around (our anniversary) and I decide to call the hotel one more time. They tell me the booking was canceled and charges reversed at 1 am. I try call the lady I bought the voucher from and no answer. I complain to a friend who manages to get hold of her and she gets back to me and says the bank account was blocked but she's sorting it out. (I know of others who got this same story a few weeks ago so surely if that was the case, you get it sorted out) Then the hotel has made a mistake, then Gmail blocked her, someone hacked her etc etc. Story after story. In the mean time, the hotel tells Me that they won't accept another reservation from bookings.dom and she needs to go directly through them and make a payment. Some more time passes by and she sends me a booking for a hotel in Kruger (we meant to be going to George). Eventually just before 5pm that evening she says all is sorted and we can go. I phone the hotel again and they confirm but say the Money isn't through yet and I can't check in until it does (usually you can but cause of the many Issues, they are now hesitant too) We decide to leave at 4am Friday morning anyways in the hope that we will find accommodation if need be. Eventually at 11am(we were almost in George by then) they tell me that I can come even though it wasn't through and they will take it further if she reverses the charges again. Just beofre we checked in, the money had cleared so all worked out in the end but I'm not sure that would of been the case had I not continued to follow up with them or her. The charge for the weekend was also almost R2500 and they hadn't heard of any promotion that they were doing with her or even heard of her at all. Breakfast was Also meant to be included which she didn't do but after all the problems, I was truly just relieved to have a place to stay.

Hi, I saw your complaints about Ardent World Travel and Tours on Facebook. Long story short, I've been scammed by Lize Botha and hoping you can help me with a way forward.
Paid for a weekend at the palace of the lost city end of January 2022. Then there was 1 story after the next about why the booking has not been made yet. Then I saw your posts and knew something was wrong. Last week she said she can't do the booking and will refund me, was supposed to be done last week Friday, still nothing. On Friday she had a problem at the bank then her fone got stolen and she had to do a Sim swap then yesterday I got an email saying she did an immediate payment and it will reflect in 1 hour, still nothing and no proof of payment.
Karen Pretorius Lize said she booked 2 units fir me at Umhlanga Sands 19-21 MarchI contacted the resort 2 weeks ago and they have no such bookingAnd off course I know if i ask for a refund that could take weeks and I've already checked the resort is fully booked and so are many other places as it's a long weekend so we are so madMy daughter booked flights and everything and all other places are full
Franklin Fourie We bought vouchers for the past weekend as a wedding gift for friends that got married on Saturday. So they were supposed to check in at the hotel on Friday. On Friday Lize messages me to say that there's a problem with the booking the hotel messed up the dates, they thought it was this weekend coming etc. The she offered to upgrade them if they choose to stay just one night on the Saturday and throw in dinner for free. They agreed on that and I thought it's sorted. Come day of the wedding we at the reception and she semd a message saying that the hotel doesn't want to accept her membership card, can she make an immediate eft for the booking amount and the dinner expenses. We are still waiting for the eft, we had to cancel the one night stay and yet no money has been transferred 😞
