Growing up my mum taught us to always make sure the house was presentable so if a guest ever showed up by surprise, we won’t be caught out. I guess I still keep that in the back of my mind till today. That’s why as soon as a guest checks out we do a clean, whether or not there’s a booking. You never know when someone is going to need a room!

We’ve been so quiet lately… and honestly it’s because hosting during the pandemic period has been HARD! We are so accustomed to having gursts visiting family, friends or visiting London to tour. However over the past year this has changed dramatically! The guests we get are increasingly younger people looking for a release from the boredom of lockdown. As such the number of parties has shot up which we don’t allow at all.

Why am I telling you this? Because our customer service has suffered as a result… and that’s not what we are about. Hosting is supposed to be fun for us and our guests, that’s why we are in the business!

So here’s a reminder to us and all the host community and our guests to keep going! Keep giving top service and don’t let some guests get you down.. the majority are great and that’s who we are here to serve!!

Looking for a cleaner with strong experience in the hotel and short term rental business. Must have minimum 2 years experience cleaning for hotels and short term holiday rentals like Airbnb.
Position is London based - Southwark and Greenwich boroughs. Requirements include:
- Washing and ironing bedding
- ensuring the place is immaculate at turnover for next guests
- Regular turnover cleaning following strict Covid cleaning policies
- must bring own supplies
- pictures and videos taken and sent after every clean
- report damaged or missing items or breaking of house rules e.g. parties and events
- general turnover cleaning

We set up the apartment to your specification from one of our 3 packages. Our packages include helium balloons, rose petals, champagne, chocolates, cupcakes, balloon garlands and arches... you name it we do it!
Our packages are surprise packages, so we set up the room prior to check in, then when your partner walks in they are pleasantly surprised! 🥰🥰👄👄❤️😘♥️💕

Yesterday we had a guest try to blackmail us over cleaning charges 🧼🧽
They threatened to leave us bad reviews if we didn’t refund half of the cleaning costs for their 1 night stay 😣🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️😄. They claimed the place was dirty and there were things behind the sofa including broken glass bottles. Luckily for us our cleaner always takes photos after a clean! But check this out, after they checked out she went in to clean and noticed broken glass bottles everywhere. The clowns had broken the bottles then took a picture 🙃😱🙃🙄

I think I need a vacation..... 😅 but hey, a memory was made and that’s the main thing! So a word of warning, make sure you have pictures before your guests arrive. And to our future guests... don’t try that sh #*t — it won’t end how you imagined it. If you can’t afford our rates, find somewhere else 🙏🏾

One of the most important lessons we’ve learnt this year is the value of good staff! Our cleaning team - headed up by Magdalena & Fran are superb! Both aren’t on Instagram but I’ll still shout them out because they’re the backbone to our success. Fran has been working with us for over 4 years and we just found Magdalena this year when we expanded the business.
Appreciate good staff, pay them well, praise them when they do a good job, show respect, kindness and gratitude because trust us..it’s hard to find good staff!

We know when you check in or are in a home away from home; you want to quickly know how everything works and where things are so you can start to feel at home!
