Giving Tuesday is TODAY!!

Giving Tuesday is the annual day of giving to non-profit organizations. CB has enriched my life in supporting myself, my family and my sonshine Jaylen in developing his character, confidence, courage, leadership skills, spirituality and more. Their dedication from 9 years old to entering CB until present support of Jay as successful Rites of passage participant and college student is unmatched! More than a program but a family CB strives to take boys to young men in collaboration with family to build and connect relationships that will last a lifetime.

I need your support. In this 19th year of CB, This Giving Tuesday, we are asking our village to find 19 friends, family members or organizations that will donate at least $19 each to surpass our goal of $19,000. Your donations helps support group and one on one mentoring, and education based trips, uniforms, parent institute and workshops which focus on personal and professional development and much more!

We welcome and encourage donations of any amount!

In the season of thankfulness, I am grateful to be picking my sonshine up. when they leave home, you realize you have them for a moment before they go off and make their mark and imprint in the world! Although I miss him so much, I am blessed beyond measure that he gets to experience some of the things I didn't. Cherish every moment student # My heart is happy.

Shouting out my favorite coworker and friend who make the job fun and easier to pass time together! Had an amazing Sunday celebrating my amazing co/worker and Friend Janice on her 50th bday milestone. Grateful , thankful and blessed that we all got a chance to reconnect to our inner young woman inside to confirm and remember we are awesome, we are great, we are powerful and we are beautiful! Nothing better than being amongst unique positive and happy women enjoying life and experiences celebrating each other! Cheers 🥂 to love light and all that is good! Have a blessed and wonderful week! what a great experience! Everything from hosts, food selections, dessert, ambiance and tea was amazing!

Happy 80th birthday to my rock star! 8 decades of life you have lived. A full life of experiences some pleasant and unpleasant losses and gains but through it all you have persevered and pushed through! I am thankful that I can start this chapter complete and whole in knowing who I am. thankful for God's grace and mercy for the lessons of life that didn't break me but made me resilience for peace of mind, for all the love and support and kind messages that have been shown not only today but throughout my life from friends, family, loved ones present and gone. congratulations 🎊 to my Sonshine ._jaylen on one of your greatest accomplishments to complete secondary school. although it was an expectation for you to excel and achieve this, I so know and understand that many don’t make it to the finish line. So I thank GOD, my village of support, the many prayers, and my resilience to help keep you grounded, focused, and stable. YOU were challenged, you persevered, we started high school online and in COVID, and you completed your studies while maintaining honor roll, playing JV and Varsity, participating in the endless outside academics and leadership programs that required your time attention and talents. words can’t express how very proud of you I am because it would be an understatement. Grateful for the amazing teachers and leaders at Bedford Academy High School. ❤️ 100 percent graduation rate is truly remarkable. so I reiterate the message on graduation day. Find your purpose ✨️that is greater than you, find your power, and find your people’s that will hold you accountable , Be honest when all else fail, and keep you centered. On June 5th, we attended Cross River Scholarship Soirée in honor of 5 amazing HEAF scholar recipients including ._jaylen. We would like to personally thank for celebrating the accomplishments of its scholars. HEAF is a high impact college access school program that provides academic enrichment, personal development, college prep, and career exposure from middle school through high school and college. So when you see ._jaylen know that we been working to get to this point since day one. Parenting is a full time commitment. What you pour in leads to their development.
