Swallow Lodge suitable for 2 people and one medium or two small dogs (free of charge) with hot tub. Private parking and barbecue.

Cuckoo Lodge suitable for 4 people (one bedroom and sofa bed in lounge area) and two medium dogs (free of charge) with hot tub and wood burner. Private parking and barbecue.

The Lodges are in Clifford close to the Powys border. Located in the glorious Golden Valley and surrounded by the stunning Merbach Hills. Near by you will find the Brecon Beacons, River Wye, Black Mountains, and Pen y Fan. Just a few of the areas of outstanding natural beauty

Hay on Wye is a short drive away and has postcard picture shops and cafes. You will see book shops galore in this famous “town of books” where the famous Hay Festival is held each year

Available locally is a range of outdoor activities to include fishing, canoeing, River activities, horse riding and golf.
For those that love walking there are many walking routes nearby with breathtaking and beautiful views.

Both Lodges are open plan and on one level, furnished to a high standard and fully equipped.Welcome packs add an extra touch for both yourself and your dog.
Bathrobes supplied to give that comfort.
Lit outdoor seating area in an enclosed decking/patio area where you will find the hot tub. Both Lodges are set in their own private areas.
Wi-Fi and Smart TV is also available

We have a fantastic special offer on our two luxury Lodges. If you are looking for that well earned 2025 relaxing break in a peaceful setting with villages and activities a short drive away please contact us. The perfect place for those fresh winter walks.
Cuckoo Lodge and Swallow Lodge are fully equipped to a high standard, both have hot tubs, are pet friendly and have private parking. Both are centrally heated with Cuckoo Lodge also having a wood burner.
The Lodges opened in 2023 and our lovely guests have left some great reviews with many returning.

Merbach Hill View Holidays have two beautiful luxury Lodges surrounded by the beautiful and stunning countryside close to the Powys Border of Wales, Hay on Wye, Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and the River Wye. A perfect break to unwind and rest.
