AlUla, Saudi Arabia

With its breathtaking desert landscapes, and now increased focus on tourism, brings with it a number of new luxury hotels that offer a unique desert based experience.

Kyoto, Japan

This city is teeming with exquisite temples, gardens, and cultural treasures. And truth be told, the Aman, Kyoto is one property I've had my eye on for some time now. This place has a serene setting in the forest yet a seductive clean line minimalist feel to it.

Normandy, France

This area beckons with its distinctive allure—think exclusive stays in elegant manors nestled amid apple orchards and medieval architecture against the backdrop of serene coastal landscapes.

And sometimes a trip can be flipped entirely upside down, but a travel advisor can make what feels like a travel nightmare into a simple rearrangement of the deck chairs. When my clients had to miss a flight, and a wedding, we were able to quickly connect with our preferred partner hotels, change their dates, and ultimately deliver the exact experience they had their hopes for, without losing a single penny!

Another elevated Santorini honeymoon - celebrated in style at Cavotagoo and the infamous Canaves Oia Eptiome, consistently rated as a top hotel in the world.

My advice: book far in advance as rooms at these two hotels go quickly and availability is hard to find. We were able to snag this couple their first choice in rooms by booking a year in advance.

Proof that no two trips are the same. I’ve planned several honeymoons this summer, and had multiple couples headed to Greece. But everyone’s tastes/aesthetic and budget is different.

This couple was looking for adventure, and so spent a single day in Athens, 5 days in Crete, 4 days in two different locations in Santorini, and the final 3 days relaxing on the beaches in Paros.

What if you had a personal guide to visit the hotels and resorts you want to stay at before you roll the dice, book, and hope you made the right choice?

Doing re-con on properties is one of the things I do for my clients, and I love it!

Nothing beats an in-person look at rooms, hotel operations, and all of the amenities. Each site visit allows me to:

➡️ know which rooms have the best views.
➡️ see what the service levels are like.
➡️ experience the pool, the spa, and the restaurants and then pass all of that valuable information onto my clients so they can trust that their experience will live up to the photos and the descriptions they see online.

Today, I'm visiting the Taj Pierre in NYC, to do this very thing!

I’ll be using all of the things I learned for future client recommendations.
