✨Animal Kingdom✨

Did you know that Animal Kingdom houses the ride I hear from MOST people is their favorite in all of WDW?! I’m talking about the exhilarating Flight of Passage, where you get to take a flight on the back of a banshee through Pandora. This ride alone is worth the visit to AK!

But that’s not all it has to offer. Dinoland houses Dinosaur, a fun trek to save a dinosaur as the asteroid hits, as well as fun for all ages on Triceratop Spin. Have a blast racing through the terrain on Expedition Everest, watch out for the yeti!!

Kali River Rapids offers a fun way to cool down and laugh in anticipation, and Kilimanjaro Safari allows you to get up close to so many different animals! It’s so much fun to watch elephants, lions, and more with no cage between you.

The gorgeous Tree of Life and lush landscaping is a must see, and eating some amazing bbq at Flame Tree is a must do!

The Festival of the Lion King show allows you to have fun singing along, being in awe of the great talent and beautiful colors on stage, and cooling down indoors.

It’s not “just a zoo” at all! If you love animals, fun rides, and so much to see, you have to visit Animal Kingdom.

✨Epcot✨

The one with “that big ball.”

I hear people say all the time that Epcot seems like a park to skip, but I’m here to tell you different!

The park is essentially a circle shape, cut down the middle. The half up front, closest to Spaceship Earth (a fun ride about the history of communication), housed in “the big ol ball” includes a variety of fun attractions!

From kid friendly rides like Nemo, and an adjacent aquarium, to fast racing rides like Test Track, and the world-exploring Soarin, there is a ride for everyone! So much variety and fun to be had.

Once you make it past this front half, you enter into the World Showcase. This area contains 11 different “countries” where you can shop, learn, eat and drink. From Canada’s poutine, Italy’s pizza, and Mexico’s margaritas, and everything in between you’ll find delicious treats and even a couple of rides and shows. It’s such a fun, unique area!

On top of all the year round fun, Epcot holds seasonal festivals that everyone adores. Cute character topiaries and hibiscus flavored treats at the Flower and Garden Festival in spring. Delicious variety during the fall for Food & Wine. Beautiful decor and themed refreshments galore during Festival of the Holidays. Having been to each one, they are all incredible and SO worth seeing!

✨Hollywood Studios ✨

Toy Story, Star Wars, and old Hollywood vibes, oh my!

Hollywood Studios is such a diverse park! If you head down sunset boulevard, you’ll see that iconic Hollywood Tower Hotel, which houses the Tower of Terror ride. Talk about exciting! Nearby you’ll find Rock N Roller Coaster, an indoor thrill coaster that includes g force speed and Aerosmith.

Across the park, Toy Story Land has you feeling like a kid again, roaming Andy’s backyard with a root beer float in hand, riding Slinky Dog coaster and trying to beat your partner at Toy Story Mania. Don’t forget to order some Totchos for lunch!

Then, you become immersed in a new world as you enter Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. Want to pilot the Millennium Falcon, build your own lightsaber, or join the Resistance in a thrilling mission to escape Kylo Ren? You got it! Don’t forget to make you virtual queue reservation for RotR!

Elsewhere, you can giggle and watch the beautiful scenery inside Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, sing along at the Frozen show (and get a little snow!), and enjoy some old music. You might even catch some of the Mickey gang on a pop up parade!

✨ Magic Kingdom ✨

Magic Kingdom is the most recognizable of any WDW parks, the one most people think of when they think Disney. The one with Cinderella’s castle, Main Street shopping, rides for children and adults alike. All the magic 😍

This park, a favorite of many, contains 6 areas. The first is town square, where you first enter into when you pass the entrance gates. You may spot princesses or other characters waving and talking to the crowd from up above.

As you round the corner and continue down Main Street you’ll notice the big beautiful castle in the hub. You can take photos, find areas to sit and rest or eat. Shop around and enjoy the scenery. Fireworks are also held behind the castle, with the tub holding the majority of the crowd at showtime.

Then, you have each of the 4 lands.

Tomorrowland, with fun kid friendly rides like Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and thrill rides like the dark indoor roller coaster, Space Mountain.

Fantasyland, which holds all of those classics like Dumbo, Peter Pan’s Flight, and 7 Dwarves Mine Train.

As you move on you hit Haunted Mansion on your way into Frontierland, where a popular water ride, Splash Mountain, cools you down.

Finally, there is Adventureland, where you might spot Captain Jack Sparrow as you head to ride Aladdin’s magic carpets!

Overall there is something for every age group here, from babies to grandmas. In my opinion you cannot miss it!

Don’t forget to make dining reservations inside Cinderella’s castle or the beast’s castle, or mobile order at one of the yummy quick service locations!

My clients and potential clients are a good mix of people who know Disney World well and who don’t know much of anything at all. One of the most common questions that I ask that is met with questions marks is, “would you like to visit all 4 parks?”

Many people do not know that Disney World consists of 4 theme parks and 2 water parks. Today I’m going to touch on each of the 4 theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot to help you get a better idea of which parks you’d like to play in!

For those who’ve been before: what’s your favorite park?

Is it just me who gets back from Disney World and finds that all other food is mediocre? Ha! I kid, but I really do LOVE to try alllll the things when I'm in my favorite place. This time I was able to partake in the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival and try a variety of items, as well as stopped for quick service for some tried and true favorites, along with a few new dishes. Let's dive into my review of them!

First up, each item from the booths in Epcot I sampled! It's important to note, this festival runs March-July(ish) so these items are not available year-round.

1) Taco Vampiro and a Passion Fruit Margarita from Jardin de Fiestas. So yummy! The taco with the salsa ranchera tasted just like a beef enchilada to me, and who doesn't love margaritas? Definitely a win here.

2) Seared Scallops with French Green Beans, Butter Potatoes, and Applewood Smoked Bacon from Northern Bloom. I will be honest, I am not a super big scallops person. I wasn't into them, but the rest of the dish was SO yummy! The sides mixed with the meat in the next review would have been amazing. If you like scallops you will love this, if not it may be one to pass on.

3) Beef Tenderloin Tips with Whipped Potatoes and Garden Vegetables from Northern Bloom. Yum yum yum. Everything about this dish was tasty. Like I said, much better than the scallops to me, and was a nice "home cooked" taste. Definitely recommend.

4) Beef Brisket Burnt Ends and Smoked Pork Belly Slider with Garlic Sausage, Chorizo, Cheddar Fondue and Pickle, and Frozen Lemonade with Firefly Blackberry Moonshine from Festival Favorites. Well y'all this is at the Festival Favorites booth for a reason! Absolutely delicious, probably one of my favorite orders from the WHOLE trip.
Get it get it get it!! 😍😍

5) 3 Daughters Pink Lemonade Hard Cider, Bold Rock Watermelon Hard Cider, and Blake's Hard Cider Triple Jam Cider from Cider House ordered as a flight. Each cider was very light and refershing. The pink lemonade was the best! Watermelon
was a bit champagne-y.

6) Herb-Crusted Spring Lamb with Marbled Potatoes and Spring Vegetables, and the Hibiscus Lemonade with Gin from Farmers Feast. NO. Just no. As my mom said "Lamb tastes like sweaty armpits" and she was right. 🤢 Even the sides were
disgusting. I would never try this again and do not recommend it. The drink was very good though!

7) Crawfish Etouffee with Andouille Sausage and Dirty Rice and a Bayou Cocktail from Magnolia Terrace. I 100% ate the whole thing right up, did not waste a bit. As for the cocktail, both thumbs down, which came as a surprise for me. I normally love all things rum but this one taste a bit like mouthwash mixed with the taste of how burnout smells? 🥴
Point being: it was not good.

That wraps up all of my Epcot finds! Moving on...

8 )The Grand Breakfast from the Grand Floridian Cafe at the Grand Floridian Resort. Basically your standard Disney breakfast/brunch plate, filling and tasty. Especially the cheesy casserole! Don’t forget to pair it with one of their yummy mimosas, it's a perfect brunchy location and menu.

9) Baked Macaroni with Pulled Pork from Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom. This is one of my favorite quick service dishes in all of WDW. Who doesn't love mac and cheese and bbq?? This girl definitely does. Gooey and melty and rich
and just overall perfect!

10) Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich with Nutella from Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom. Okay first things first, this bad boy is HUGE. Do not order one per person, you can absolutely share it. That said, is really is yummy. The waffle is a "real waffle" as opposed to the Mickey waffles you find almost everywhere else, fruit is fresh and Nutella is rich.
Overall a good sweet and filling breakfast, I woud definitely recommend some coffee or juice to cut through how sweet it can be after a few bites.

11) Shrimp & Andouille Mac & Cheese and a Margarita from The Boathouse in Disney Springs. First thing you need to know is that this restaurant is one of the nicest in all of WDW with amazing service and everything tastes good. Beautiful more upscale location, so I personally would not take my kids being on the pricy side as well as the
more upscale side. That said, for adults it is excellent! Great portion sizes (definitely could save leftovers if you wanted to) and delcious, every bite was perfect. Also I don't think I have ever met a margarita I didn't like.
(P.S. great steak here too! Cooked to perfection and tender.)

12) Totchos from Woody's Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios. Another one of my favorite quick service meals! They are a mix of tater tots and nachos and are perfect. There isn't much to say other than- just get it!

13) Ronto Morning Wrap from Ronto Roasters in Hollywood Studios. Ronto Roasters is a great quick service stop for breakfast or lunch and this wrap comes in a "breakfast version" as well as a "lunch/dinner version." Instead of a tortilla they use pita bread and all combined it makes a pretty good meal. I felt full but not stuffed and the taste is good. Pair it with a Tatooine Sunset (tea, lemonade, and fruit flavors) for a complete meal!

If you are traveling to Disney- please make sure that you book your park reservations ASAP after getting your tickets purchased! They fill up QUICKLY and there is NO way to get into that park if it is full and you did not make a reservation, even if you have tickets.

Further, please do not change reservations without making certain of availability within your ticket type. Lots of sad clients on a daily basis (not my clients!) because they did not know this.

“Wait, I thought you said Fastpass+ wasn’t available right now? Why do I see people using the FP line??”

Well, for several reasons! I know it can seem frustrating that a service which isn’t supposed to be offered, seems to be offered! But here are a few reasons why, that’ll help ease the FOMO:

-DAS Pass: parties with an individual with a disability that prevents them standing in long lines can be granted this pass to return to a ride at a later time and use the FP line to avoid the line. This is a great service for those who have disabilities that we may not be able to see!

-Rider swap: parents with children who are too small to ride often utilize rider swap. This allows party 1 to ride through the regular line while party 2 waits with the child who is too small, and then party 2 to ride more quickly when party 1 returns. Awesome for young families!

-VIP tours: enough said. They basically get to do whatever they want pronto, they paid for it 🤣

-Club 33 and Golden Oaks residents: a perk of membership

-An “our bad!” FP: either a ride broke down while this party was in line and so they received a FP to come back later, or something may have happened while on their trip that caused a cast member to decide to “pixie dust” them, and so a FP was added to their account.

Whatever the case, know that you’re not missing out, and Fastpass+ is still not available at this time to the average Disney-goer under normal circumstances ☺️

So as everyone knows, the whole Covid situation has made travel anything from difficult to impossible for many people and the travel industry has been suffering.

People are starting to go places again, but it’s not enough. Disney just laid off thousands of employees hoping to return to work, especially Disneyland and Disney cruise line cast members.

A few months ago, I was let go from my agency due to lack of business to justify the cost of keeping agents. I have been scrambling to apply elsewhere, but nobody is hiring. I could start up my own business, but that is a big and costly decision.

Unfortunately for the time being, I can’t take on clients. It’s heartbreaking for me and I’ve been trying to find a way to make this work because I LOVE my work as a travel agent for Disney vacations. I WILL return to it eventually! But as of now, I have to recommend that anyone who has messaged me or was planning to finds another agent they love to help them. I truly hate having to say that, but I do hope anyone visiting Disney World will support an agent and have a magical trip. 💫

I will of course let everyone know ASAP when I can return to the business 😊 thanks for all the support and clients who trusted me previously! 🏰

Star Wars day at sea and Marvel day at sea cruises are OPEN for 2021!

With dates January-March 2021, a great way to get out of the winter yuck and into better weather and lots of fun is a Disney Cruise. Even better when fun themes after your favorite movies come into play!

Options include cruising around the Bahamas or Caribbean out of Miami FL for 5-7 nights.

Even better, when you book with me by February 14 you get 50% OFF your deposit 😱😍

If you had to choose, would you pick a Marvel or Star Wars theme cruise?
