These are such a fun treat but they are typically only available on your last full day at sea on longer sailings (5-6 nights minimum). You can always ask the Cabanas staff early in the week if they will have churro Mickey waffles and they should be able to let you know for certain!

Wishing this was my Tuesday morning view! 😍 Winged Encounters is a quick show in front of the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World. I highly recommend stopping to catch this show, it happens almost every hour between 9:15am and 3:15pm.

I used to be sick & miserable on every flight which was incredibly difficult considering my job involves so much travel! Over the years, I have found simple ways to make flying so much better & I very rarely get sick or completely frozen with anxiety.
1. Getting to the airport early might seem like a no-brainer, but I know y’all out there arriving half an hour before your flight & barely making it through security 👀 Don’t assume nothing will go wrong. Leave yourself plenty of time!
2. Check a bag & your flying experience is 182737457x easier. I did the math so you don’t have to. Also invest in an AirTag so you can track your luggage!
3. I purposefully choose airlines that allow me to select my seat (ahem, Southwest Airlines - not a sponsor) at no extra cost. Sitting over the wing not only gives you great photo ops but I feel the least turbulence here. Don’t know if that’s scientifically accurate but it’s how I feel!
4. I’ve narrowed down my motion sickness remedy to 3-4 things:
DRAMAMINE - Enough said. I take the less drowsy version & feel great!
SEABANDS - Simple little things but they sure do the trick! You can find these at drug stores, most major grocery stores, or Amazon.
EARPLANES - These nifty things are a relatively new to my flight routine but I won’t go without them now! I have very sensitive ears and often have issues with the changes in cabin pressure resulting in my ears not popping/experiencing a lot of pain. Earplanes relieve the pressure & also mute some of the loudness of the engines. I do normally wear AirPods so I have to forgo wearing those to wear the Earplanes. But I think over the ear headphones would work just fine with these!

Insider tip I always share with my clients: go see Cars Land light up at Disney California Adventure! Year round this event takes place around sunset. Head to Cars land 10-15 minutes before sunset (check your weather app or google search when the sunset will be) and wait for everything to come to life! During Halloween you can catch this spooky version that starts off to the song “Sh-Boom” by The Chords and switches to “I Put a Spell on You” by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins. It’s so fun! 🎃👻✨
