For my upcoming clients, Disney has just announced the following update:
“We are adapting our health and safety guidelines based on guidance from health and government officials, and will require Cast Members and Guests ages 2 and up, to wear face coverings in all indoor locations at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort beginning Friday, July 30, regardless of vaccination status. At Walt Disney World Resort, this includes upon entering and throughout all attractions and in enclosed transportation vehicles, including shuttles, buses, monorails and at Disney Skyliner.”

Smash Knoxville is the first to open here in Knoxville, TN at Marble City Market and we couldn’t be more excited. Restaurants are our passion and we are focused on building something huge! From the Walt Disney Company today:
“Beginning June 15, you will start to notice the following changes:
FACE COVERINGS
Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in most areas. Face coverings will still be required of all Guests on Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner. While we will not require proof of vaccination, we expect Guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, and upon entering and throughout all attractions and transportation. Guests must observe current policies on face coverings until June 15.”

I ❤️ Toy Story Land...the bright colors, the fact that there’s an attraction for everyone, and the atmosphere that takes you back to being a kid.
The one negative is that there’s not a lot of shade so if it’s hot, it’s HOT. But there’s something about the theming of being a toy in Andy’s backyard that takes me back to being a kid in the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids play area at MGM Studios. Those were the days.

✨Disney has officially released the MagicMobile Pass!✨
Currently only available on IPhone and Apple Watch and coming soon to other smart devices, you can use the MagicMobile Pass to replace your MagicBand if you choose! With Express Mode on your iPhone and Apple Watch, you don’t even have to wake or unlock your device! Just hold your device near an access point like you would your MagicBand and you’re good to go.
This is a brand new feature in the My Disney Experience app that I recommend checking out, especially if you’re thinking of foregoing the Magic Bands. You can even personalize your own digital pass! (I went with the Passholder option ☺️)

🚨DISNEY MASK POLICY UPDATE🚨
Disney has updated their “Know Before You Go” article with a new mask requirement:
✨Face coverings must be worn while standing, waiting, or sitting in dining locations unless actively eating or drinking.
✨
Now, before anyone goes thinking this is a horrible change, it’s really not that different from the original policy. The only difference between yesterday and today is that now they’re simply asking that you continue wearing your mask until your food or beverage arrives at your table. And let’s be real, how long does it actually take for your server to deliver a drink? Five minutes? Doesn’t really seem that different to me but I want everyone to be aware of the newest policy changes at all times!

This new perk for guests staying in a Disney Resort will allow entrance to a Disney Park 30 minutes early every morning.

This sounds minor, however, consider that you could be ahead of some huge crowds that can’t enter the park until rope drop! You’ll have the chance to get a leg up on the big rides that typically have you joining the queue alongside every other person.
