Another reason why staying on site has it's perks!!!! This was checkout day at Disney's Caribbean Beach, casually waiting for our Uber, and who appears? Donald, Goofy and Pluto!! They were there for quite a while, played peek a boo with a few littles, and gave hugs to the little kids at heart! Totally a magical moment!

Disney is not always go go go! Sometimes you just have to stop and rest! Tucked into Animal Kingdom park is the Nomad Lounge. It's a great place rest, grab a drink or snack, and you can even catch the character flotillas going by! We even got to see Santa!!

We had a blast at Jollywood Nights!

I loved the opportunity to spend a few days with my fellow Upon a Star agents in Walt Disney World to welcome in this Christmas season! Jollywood nights was fun, and who doesn't love a new event in Disney?!

They definitely always have something new, that's why I love visiting the parks so much!

Another beautiful night in Disney Springs brought us to another "new to us" restaurant, Wine Bar George.

Wine Bar George serves more than 140 wines, all available by the glass, bottle...and the ounce! Also offers a full menu of small plates, cheese and charcuterie, family style plates and sweets.

We enjoyed this meal, and it was a nice treat after a long needed and deserved rest day at our resort.

La Creperie de Paris? Oui oui!

People always ask me how we don't get tired of going to Disney World every year. Well, I'm going to take the next couple days to highlight some of the new experiences we had this summer.

One thing we vowed to do this trip was try new restaurants. EPCOT is filled with so many restaurants, that give you the experience of visiting a variety of countries, without the long commute! One restaurant we tried on this last trip was La Creperie de Paris, nestled in the new section of the France Pavillion. We were able to enjoy some savory and sweet crepes, and soak up some much need time in the AC! Making your lunch your sit down meal of the day is a nice alternative to getting a break in the hottest part of the day, without traveling back to your resort.

My kids are too old to "meet" the Disney characters?

Who says??? We just enjoyed a fun filled 12 days in Walt Disney World, and we soaked in every bit of character interaction we could.

Character meals are a great way to meet the characters, without standing in lines, or using up your genie+ options.

Wanna meet Pooh and friends? Breakfast at Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom was not only yummy, but you get snuggles from some of your favorite Hundred Acre Woods friends!

Are you old school? Wanna meet Mickey and his pals? Tusker House at Animal Kingdom might be a good choice for your family. This breakfast buffet was especially delicious with notes of African cooking and traditional breakfast items too! You're sure to find something for every family member. And the characters were so much fun here!

At both restaurants we did a late breakfast so we could rope drop a few rides beforehand! It worked out perfectly.

Has anyone ever done the Animation experience at Animal Kingdom? We did it on a recent trip, and it was so fun! We drew Cooper from the Fox and the Hound. I think they look pretty good.
