Today, we commemorate the Day of Ashurah, a significant day in the Islamic calendar that marks the 10th day of Muharram.
It is a day of remembrance, fasting, and reflection for Muslims around the world.
The Day of Ashurah is a reminder of the trials and tribulations faced by the Prophet Musa A.S and his people, and the ultimate victory of truth over falsehood.
Let us use this day as an opportunity to seek forgiveness, express gratitude, and renew our commitment to our faith.

Nestled between the Black Stone and the door of the Kaaba lies the Multazam, a sacred spot where the companions of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) would press their chest, cheek, and forearms while making heartfelt supplications.
After drinking the blessed Zam-zam water, it is recommended to seek this special place for prayer and connection with the Almighty.
However, in today's crowded times, it may be difficult and even unsafe to reach the Multazam.
Remember, the essence of your supplication lies in the sincerity of your heart, not in the physical touch of the Kaaba.
Wherever you may be in the sacred mosque, know that your prayers are heard and cherished by the Most Merciful.
If you find yourself unable to reach the Multazam, do not let it dishearten you.
Instead, focus on the purity of your intention and the depth of your connection with Allah SWT.
May your prayers at the Kaaba be filled with love, serenity, and the comfort of knowing that the Almighty is always with you.

As we journey to the sacred land of Mecca, let us remember the sanctity of the Haram does not only mean in the vicinity of Masjid Al-Haram.
With love and reverence, we must honor the prohibitions within this holy area.
As we come closer to the Ka'bah, let our actions reflect the purity and serenity of this blessed land; remembering our Prophets (peace be upon them all) who have walked on the land beneath your feet.

Ramadhan has come and gone this year in another blink of an eye.
However, it is never too late to remind ourselves the special blessings and rewards of performing Umrah during the Holy Month!
The most extraordinary benefit is that Umrah performed during Ramadhan carries the same weight as performing Hajj with Rasulullah SAW. Although, it doesn't exempt you from your obligation to perform Hajj in it of itself.
It is imperative to remember that Hajj is a duty that every able Muslim must prioritise, and fulfil, as it is obligatory upon them.
May Allah SWT grant us the opportunity to visit Makkah and Madinah next Ramadhan.
