CORRECTION: Re Charles Brush--In 1927 he lost his son and GRANDDAUGHTER, Jane. Charles Jr. gave a blood transfusion in an attempt to save his daughter, who was very ill. She did not survive and he died from complications brought on by the transfusion.
Regarding the demolision of this mansion on Millionaire's Row: His two daughters who survived him in death did not wish to maintain the mansion and within a year of his death in 1929, his will was fulfilled.
