In collaboration with Sony Australia we will be running an exciting landscape and wildlife photography tour to the great white continent. We've managed to secure two private zodiacs for the trip and Chimu has sweetened the deal with some incredible deals on early bird ticket pricing.
We've already sold half of the spots available for this trip, so get in quick as we don't expect the remainder to last long!
The past couple of months we have been hard at work behind the scenes, laying the foundations to launch a collaborative photography workshop and tour provider called Outboundtours.au
We will be launching in the new year with an exciting line-up of Australian based tours, but for now we have opened up this once in a lifetime adventure to bookings.
The important stuff:
- We’ll be departing 9 March 2025 from Ushuaia.
- It’s a 12 day expedition onboard the Ocean Endeavour, touring the South Shetland Islands & the Antarctica Peninsula.
- We’ll be part of Chimu's Best of Antarctica: Whale Discovery Expedition, along with several other Sony photography groups from around Australia and New Zealand.
- Zodiac cruises on a private zodiac guided by Andrew J Clarke and Lewis Burnett
- Daily Antarctic shore based landings (weather & ice permitting).
- Onboard lectures from experts in marine biology, geology, history and more.
- Daily photography tuition, including on-location guidance and post-processing workshops.
- The Ocean Endeavour includes amenities like the sun deck, Aurora Lounge, Polaris Restaurant, a bar, library, saltwater pool, gym, sauna and outdoor whirlpool bath (seriously!).
