Track work by Norfolk Southern will affect the Crescent service from Monday to Thursday, January 7 to February 27, excluding February 17. Schedule times on Amtrak.com have been updated to reflect these changes.

Train 19 (New York to New Orleans): Service will terminate in Atlanta.
Alternate transportation:
Bus 3119: Operates between Atlanta and New Orleans, serving all scheduled stops.
Bus 3019: Operates between Atlanta and New Orleans with no intermediate stops.

Train 20 (New Orleans to New York) Service will originate in Atlanta.
Alternate transportation:
Bus 3120: Operates between New Orleans and Atlanta, serving all scheduled stops.
Bus 3020: Operates between New Orleans and Atlanta with no intermediate stops.

Pacific Surfliner Service Changes
Effective December 13 - 14 and 15 - 17, 2024
Pacific Surfliner schedules will be adjusted as outlined below to accommodate the trackwork being performed. Schedule times listed on Amtrak.com have been updated to reflect these changes.

Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14
Train 595, which usually operates between San Diego and Los Angeles, will be canceled. Bus 5811 will provide alternate transportation.
Train 794, which normally operates between San Luis Obispo and San Diego, will terminate at Los Angeles. No alternate transportation will be provided between Los Angeles and San Diego.
Sunday, December 15, and Monday, December 16
Train 790, which typically operates from Goleta to San Diego, will terminate at Solana Beach. Bus 4090 will provide alternate transportation between Solana Beach and San Diego.
Departs Solana Beach at 10:25 pm
Departs Old Town San Diego at 10:50 pm (drop-off only)
Departs San Diego at 11:00 pm (drop-off only)
Train 794, which generally operates from San Luis Obispo to San Diego, will terminate at Solana Beach. Bus 4094 will provide alternate transportation between Solana Beach and San Diego.
Departs Solana Beach at 12:25 am
Departs Old Town San Diego at 12:50 am (drop-off only)
Departs San Diego at 1:00 am (drop-off only)
Monday, December 16 and Tuesday, December 17
Train 761, which generally operates from San Diego to San Luis Obispo, will originate at Solana Beach. Bus 4061 will provide alternate transportation between San Diego and Solana Beach. There will be no connections from Old Town San Diego.
Departs San Diego at 3:50 am
Departs Solana Beach at 4:30 am
Train 765, which generally operates from San Diego to Goleta, will originate at Solana Beach. Bus 4065 will provide alternate transportation between San Diego and Solana Beach.
Departs San Diego at 5:50 am
Departs Solana Beach at 6:30 am
The Solana Beach station will be open and staffed during these dates.

Carl Sandburg Service Changes Trains 381 and 382
Effective December 9 - 13, 2024
Due to trackwork being performed by BNSF, Amtrak’s Carl Sandburg service will be adjusted as outlined below. Amtrak.com and the mobile app have been updated to reflect these changes.

Train 381, which operates between Chicago and Quincy, will terminate at Galesburg.
Bus 3381 will provide alternate transportation between Galesburg and Quincy.
Train 382, which operates between Quincy and Chicago, will originate at Galesburg.
Bus 3382 will provide alternate transportation between Quincy and Galesburg, operating 1 hour earlier.
Departing Quincy at 4:30 pm.
Departing Macomb at 5:19 pm

New Thruway Service between Albany and Montreal

The new Thruway service will stop at Albany-Rensselaer, Saratoga Springs, Glens Falls, Longueuil and Montreal (Gare d’autocars). Passengers can connect to other destinations on the Amtrak network in Albany.
