So much going on this Oct1! Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration officially kicks off today! Here are just some of the things going on:

****New Magic Band+ will debut in 2022 as part of Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration and will help immerse guests in Disney stories and connect them with characters like never before!

****The new Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser resort opens March 1, 2022. This is huge news!! Disney Vacation Club members can make reservations during a special pre-sale event occurring Oct. 7-9, 2021. Reservations for the general public open October 28!!

****Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will debut at Epcot in 2022. This new type of roller coaster invites guests to join the Guardians of the Galaxy on an intergalactic race through space! Actual opening date to be announced.

****Disney Genie+ service is expected to debut soon and will replace the former Fastpass+ service.

****Special glow lights have been added to each monorail train to match each train’s specific color.

****Harmonius - the new Epcot nighttime show officially premiers tomorrow night, but park guests received a surprise with an early debut Wednesday night.

****Disney Enchantment- the new fireworks show at Magic Kingdom - debuted last night!

****As previously announced, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure officially opens at Epcot France Pavilion tomorrow!!

****In honor of the park's 50th anniversary, 50 golden sculptures have been spread across the four Walt Disney World theme parks

Two of my greatest passions have been halted. Wiped off the schedule. Simply gone... Travel and baseball have played an enormous role in my life, and have been a cornerstone in my marriage, as well as my family. Now, we play the waiting game, because like all trials and tribulations put in front of us before, this too shall pass. If you are wanting to jet set across the country to catch a ballgame, spend a weekend at an all-inclusive, or take the family on the cruise of a lifetime...please do not hesitate to reach out. These are uncertain times in a very uncertain world. The travel industry has taken blunt force trauma to the head, much like many other industries. Though we are on a track that currently has no end in sight, I do believe that this shall pass, and with it a new day and new beginnings. I have seen many people distraught over ruined travel plans for Spring Break, and upcoming events throughout our Nation. Many people have struggled with cancelling or rearranging reservations on their own, and I would now like to throw a sales pitch haha. Please seek out a travel agent for your future vacations... if they do their job correctly, all of these misfortunate events could of been taken care of through your agent with little to no effort from yourself.
