When you visit Hervey Bay be sure to take a walk along the historic Urangan Pier. The length of the pier is around 1km.

Along the way you will have spectacular views and there's a good chance you will see schools of fish, stingrays, dolpins and stingrays. Look above and you may also see a couple of pelicans. If you are an avid fisherman throw in a line or two.

Sunrises and sunsets from the pier are inspiring so make sure to take your camera with you.
