OH MY! I spent the Evening with Nicola Biscardo at Great Grapes in Cary last night. He showcased 6 lovely wines from the Regions in Italy. I had tasted the GAVI White Wine and now I am going for a Negroamaro hardy Red Wine....
What a great presentation as he offered a review of wine county which makes me want to go back to Italy....I just melted when he talked about Tuscany, which I visited 10 years ago, seems just like yesterday.
That is what Travel is supposed to do...it allows you to relive memories and inspire you to create more. I am so ready to go back to Italy!!!

TRAVELERS WANT TO TRAVEL: Indeed, the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) surveys and found that travelers want to travel again. DO YOU AGREE? WHEN ARE YOU READY TO TRAVEL?
46% of travelers said their first large discretionary purchase would be travel if the pandemic ended tomorrow; 55%of those surveyed said they have already traveled 100 miles or more this summer, while 27% have traveled 250 miles or more this summer.
60% recently stayed or are ready to stay in a hotel, while the remainder say the are looking fora breakthrough on COVID-19.
And here’s the clincher: 73% who have taken a cruise in the past year are ready to go now, while 70% of hesitant travelers would take a cruise within three months if they had the necessary reassurances.

Waiting as the World Heals

As we are preparing for the world to gently reopen, we have had time to reconnect with ourselves and others. We all have lots of stories to tell about what has happened in this interim. I took some personal time for health reasons and then Covid gave me more time to rest and appreciate health and family. I have a new position in travel that will allow me to reach out and design memories for you, which is the best souvenir.

How you are doing? As a fellow traveler or a current or future client I want to hear about your plans with family, friends and work. You may not be ready to travel now, but you can dream. This will be a ‘New Normal’ and we have an opportunity to put in a plan on how this will work for you.
