Need some inspiration? Check out the trips that I planned and booked for clients this month.

Greece 🇬🇷: This is part of an epic Italy and Greece trip for a wonderful family of five looking to explore everything mythology! We finalized the tour portion of their trip where they’ll be taking private tours of the Acropolis/Athens, Temple of Poseidon (with some sea swimming along the Athens Riviera), and a city bike tour. They’ll also go snorkeling in Crete!

Ireland 🇮🇪: This family of four is taking a fun, week-long small group tour through southern and western Ireland, hitting all of the highlights for first timers, as well as off the beaten path adventures.

Italy 🇮🇹: Two couples are headed to Lake Como and Cinque Terre this September. Private boat trips with amazing scenery in both locations, a day trip to Lake Maggiore and Lugano, and wine tasting + cooking class in Portofino await them!

France 🇫🇷: This family is going to France after a week in Greece. They’ll spend 4 days in Paris and will then take the train to Avignon where they’ll explore the south of France on their own (along with a wonderful food tour)!

This past England/Wales trip went so well… we can’t stop thinking about it! Our beautiful and relaxing accommodations in the Cotswolds really made this trip special, as well as our day trips to various places in the area.

One of our activities while in England was exploring Oxford and going on a Harry Potter tour. This was a 1.5 hour private tour of film locations and general Oxford facts.

I have clients in Deauville and Paris this week and I just love the itinerary we came up with.

This family of four with two teenagers started in Paris and have a mix of activities and unstructured time. They’re going on a bakery and pastry food tour, a night bike tour, and will go to the summit of the Eiffel Tower.

After that, they are taking the train to the Normandy beach town of Deauville where their only plans are to relax on the beach, rent bikes to explore the area, and enjoy the delicious food.

I love vacations that combine activity with down time to see the area on your own.

And all of the arrangements were taken care of by yours truly 😊. Let’s plan that next vacation of yours!

Zip lining and completing a challenging ropes course in South Wales was definitely a highlight of our trip!

The zip line, named The Phoenix, is composed of two zip lines and is the fastest seated zip line in the world.

The first one takes you down Rhigos Mountain and across the Llyn Fawr reservoir. There are four lines so we were all able to go at the same time.

My 7 year old’s only concern was that she wouldn’t be tall enough to go on it. I have very adventurous children 🤣

The ropes course stands about 100 feet tall and consists of three levels. There were some very challenging parts to this and we all conquered some new things.

I highly recommend this experience if you’re in the area.

It was a great day of adventure!

A relaxing trip with touches of sparkle.

That’s how one of my friends described our time here and it’s pretty accurate! Slow mornings with breakfast in our cottage and some hot tub time, and then afternoons exploring nearby English towns or partaking in some adventure in Wales.

We’re heading into Bath for dinner tonight, and then tomorrow we’ll drive just over an hour to Cardiff, Wales for the night 🤩

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I was at this fabulous resort in the Bahamas. It seems like I was just there… Where is the time going??

And this Sandals resort just renovated the East Bay Village, and the rooms are spectacular 😍

The private island really allows everyone to spread out. The resort was almost at full capacity and you would never know it- no fighting for chairs, no lines for food… it was very relaxing and peaceful.

I know that after this school year and busy spring there are many of you who could use an adult-only vacation. A last minute getaway is calling your name…

I have two sets of clients in Rome and they are both at the Colosseum right now 😂

Of course when in Rome you want to see the stuff you came to see- the Colosseum, the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, etc. And if it’s your first time in Rome, you can’t miss these beautiful places!

However, there is so much beauty in the things that not everyone sees. The quaint, quiet street away from the crowds in a different neighborhood or the hole in the wall trattoria that doesn’t have a website, can really balance out the craziness of the more popular sites.

If only there was someone to help with that “off the beaten path” stuff (it’s me, hi)! Let’s work together to plan that perfect itinerary 🌟

A lucky couple is going to Alaska for their 50th wedding anniversary. They’ll leave from Vancouver and sail to Alaskan port towns and through glacier straits before ending in Seward. Then they’ll spend 4 days on land exploring Denali National Park and Anchorage.

Even though it’s a little last minute for an Alaskan cruise (they’re leaving in two months) I was able to find them a great cabin at a reasonable price.

What an amazing way to celebrate a milestone anniversary!

Paris - This trip is an add on to a family’s Finland adventure. They’ll start in Disneyland Paris where they’ll spend New Years and then they’ll go into Paris and stay in an INCREDIBLE suite overlooking the Eiffel Tower.

Paris & Deauville: This family is celebrating their son’s high school graduation by heading to Paris and the Normandy beach town of Deauville. A private night bike tour, a pastry food tour, and the Eiffel Tower await them.

Iceland: This family will spend 8 days driving through the south and west coast of Iceland. They’ll soak in hot springs, drive snowmobiles on a glacier, and go to the Westman Islands.

Naples: This is a group trip with six couples who are exploring Naples before boarding a yacht sailing around the Amalfi Coast. In Naples they’ll head to Pompeii, have wine tasting and lunch at the base of Vesuvius, and have walking food tour of Naples.

Alaska: A couple’s 50th wedding anniversary will be celebrated on a 7 day cruise to Alaska, followed by 4 days exploring Denali & Fairbanks.

Plus a ton of tours and transfers to already existing vacations!

I have another honeymoon couple making their way to Italy and Switzerland today. They are getting married on Sunday outside of Palermo, where they’ll spend the next 5 nights around Sicily, and then head up to Lugano, Switzerland for a few days.

Sicily is a beautiful island and there is so much to see. We spent a total of four weeks on the island and I would go back to see more. One of our favorite experiences was hiking Mt. Etna and then visiting the Alcantara Gorges. We did this as a small group experience. Mt. Etna is an active volcano and if you want to hike certain parts of it you have to do it with a guide since they know where to go, and more importantly, where not to go! We don’t want to disturb the volcano!

I get asked a lot how hard it is to add on Sicily to an Italian vacation. Sicily is a trip in itself and in my opinion you need at least 5 nights in order to scratch the surface. Plus, it’s not so easy to add on if you’re coming from Rome or Naples - you would have to take the overnight ferry, fly, or make the long drive and take a short ferry.

We got to hike Mount Etna! We had lunch at a beautiful winery and also visited the Alcantara Gorges, which were beautifully formed.

On Friday I have clients flying to Honolulu where they will spend a couple of nights and then board a 7 day cruise around the Hawaiian islands. This is a great way to experience what Hawaii has to offer all in one shot!

Two of their stops will be Hilo and Kona on the Big Island. I spent some time here 19 years ago and it was such a different experience than the other islands! The natural landscape of Volcanoes National Park is not to be missed and is an excursion option on either of these port days. From active hiking to leisurely volcanic wine tasting, there is something for everyone here.

They are going to have a great time!

Anyone really into Impressionism? I planned a really unique France vacation focusing on just that… art impressionism.

I have to admit, this one was a little tricky for me to plan. I know when I need to ask for extra help so I referred to a wonderful supplier in France who could help me plan this perfect vacation.

This vacation focuses on the impressionism era - not necessarily going into museums to look at art, but going to places where impressionism was important, visit sites of where important impressionists painted and lived, and visit towns that had a large influence in this era of art.

My clients arrived today in Paris and drove immediately to Honfleur in Normandy to start their self-drive impressionism tour.

Highlights:

🚢 Lovely town of Honfleur
🖼️ A tour of Rouen
🎨 Giverny to see Monet’s house and gardens, with a private painting class
🖼️ Auvers-sur-Oise and the Oise Valley to look at Van Gogh’s time there.

🏙️ Paris on their own for two days

My first honeymoon clients landed in Italy today and they are in for an amazing start to their married life!

They arrived in Venice where they were greeted with a private water taxi to their hotel. They’ll spend a few days here with no real plans other than to relax and enjoy the city.

They’ll then take the train to Naples where they’ll be whisked off to the town of Praiano on the Amalfi Coast. They’ll spend a week here, their time being a mix of some free days and activities such as:

🛥️ A boat ride and tour of Capri, with time on the island

🍷 A day trip to Pompeii, with lunch and wine tasting at a winery at the base of Mt. Vesuvius

🏔️ A day trip with a private driver to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. With lunch at the delicious La Tagliata

⏰ Free time options include time in Sorrento, relaxing at their hotel pool, or hiking the Path of the Gods trail starting right in Praiano

It’ll definitely be a memorable honeymoon ❤️

I’m am so so excited for this trip that my clients are leaving on tonight. They are embarking on an enchanting 8 day land tour of gorgeous Switzerland!

This itinerary is amazing and if (when) I get back to Switzerland I may just follow this exact route.

And they’ll get to spend some time in Liechtenstein while driving from Zurich to St. Mortiz. Who doesn’t love checking off another country on their list?

Yesterday I had a lovely couple return from a fantastic vacation in Punta Cana. Since they weren’t traveling during a super busy time I was able to find them a great all-inclusive resort that fit their needs and wants, all staying within the budget they gave me. I packaged their flights together with the resort and had access to a special promotion, which resulted in some savings for them!

This resort is a fantastic option if you’re not looking to spend a lot. Five days in the Dominican Republic, with all the food and drinks you can have? Sounds like a great time to me!

This is such a busy week for my clients!

On Tuesday an adult family is headed to Paris and London on their first adventure to Europe! These clients contacted me looking for 7-8 days in these two cities. They are also huge Disney fans so they decided they wanted to add that on as well. I was so happy to enlist the help of my wonderful colleague Jessica Streeter, Firefly Travels to plan this portion. How fun to work with another advisor on a trip!

They are flying into Paris and going directly to Disneyland where they will spend two days visiting both parks.

Next they’ll head to the City of Light where they’ll spend two nights strolling around town, taking in all of the sights. They’re also doing a catacomb tour here.

They’ll head to London next, via the Eurostar, where they’ll spend three nights. They requested tickets on the Big Bus Tours, which has stops all around the city.

What a fun trip for a first timer to Europe!

Next week a lovely couple is headed to Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe. In Yosemite they are staying in a wonderful lodge that has all kinds of activities, dining options, and a spa. Over four days they’ll see all the beauty of this national park.

Next, they’ll head to South Lake Tahoe, where they’ll stay close to the water at a beautiful hotel. There are so many things they can do here - hiking and walking, kayaking, and riding the gondola are just a few!

We recently returned from an awesome nine-day road trip with our kids, ages six and nine. Starting in San Francisco, we drove to Yosemite National Park, then drove to Sequoia National Park. Then, we eventually made our way to Las Vegas, where we did some fun things inside and outside the city.

I just had clients return from a fabulous stay in Punta Cana, at an adults-only, all-inclusive resort for their anniversary.

We planned this over a year ago and got the best price for their room- the ocean front, club terrace suite with a plunge pool! How fantastic is this room??

I just planned and booked a wonderful Ireland vacation for a lovely couple.

They are headed on a one week tour of Southern Ireland, starting and ending in Dublin. They’ll see amazing sights such as the Cliffs of Moher, the ring of Kerry, Dublin Castle, and also experience things like a sheepdog demonstration, a medieval castle banquet, and so much more!

About a month ago I decided that I needed to return to Rome for a short visit.

I plan a ton of Italy for clients. And while I am very well versed in the area from my time living here, there are some things that I just had to learn more about Rome to better serve everyone.

I also may have something in the works for early next year 🤫

So, I only had a few weeks before the high season started and after that I’d have to wait until October. I got lucky and found some pretty decent airfare, called up two of my friends and said “Who wants to go to Rome with me for a longish weekend”?

While here I’m:

🏨 Meeting with 6 hotels
🇮🇹 Meeting with 3 tour operators (two I currently use and one that is new to me)
🍝 Scouting out restaurants to build a relationship with
🇮🇹 Showing my friend, a first timer to Rome, a great time!

A nice mix of work and some fun. 72 hours in Rome? Yes please!

I have clients leaving on Saturday to board Royal Caribbean’s largest and newest ship, the Icon of the Seas.

This ship has the largest water park at sea with SIX amazing water slides! There are SEVEN pools with a different vibe for everyone. Different neighborhoods to hang out in, many many places to grab food and drinks, and so many activities for the entire family to enjoy.

This ship has it all and is huge! I can’t wait to hear all about their experience next week!

We all had an amazing time in Punta Cana at Dreams Flora Resort and Spa… we were so upset to leave! It was just what we needed after ski season and a cold rainy winter in NJ.

Some highlights:

☀️ Beautiful beach and pools
☀️ Preferred club family junior suites- gave us extra amenities and two connecting rooms to spread out in (king bed in one room, two doubles in the other)
☀️ Gorgeous weather and no humidity!
