Lupus affects millions of people worldwide, it’s a life-changing disease that currently has no cure. It was my experience that the doctors who oversaw my daughter’s care were ill-informed about the disease. I felt like I had to fight the doctors every inch of the way to get the care she needed until she was blessed with a team of doctors that worked together to treat her. The information we were given by the doctor after her diagnosis could fill a thimble and the information we never received could fill a swimming pool. I’m joining the Lupus Foundation of America Texas Gulf Coast Chapter to help raise funds to help those affected by Lupus.
