✨Most rooms at your deluxe resorts in Disney world will come with a balcony or patio (a few minor exceptions). When you book your rooms at one of these hotels, you’ll have the option to choose your room category based on the view from your room! The better the view, the more expensive the room will be.
✨Here you’ll see the difference between a “resort view” (typically your most budget friendly option) and a “water view” room at Disney’s Yacht Club resort!
✨When we are traveling with our littles (4&2), we always make sure to splurge on a room with a balcony, we have to navigate nap time and early bed time for the girls, so we love to spend time on the balcony while they sleep! We’re usually not picky about the view, but we were spoiled with this water view room, and even had a sneaky, off to the side view of the Epcot fireworks from there!

✨We used our bounceback offer (ASK ME ABOUT IT IF YOU’RE TRAVELING SOON!) to grab a great deal on a 1-BR suite at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was amazing! But, when you’re traveling with littles, sleeping arrangements are so important! Be sure you know what the setup is! For this suite, there is one king bed in the bedroom, and in the living room, a pull-out couch, and also a pull-out chair.
✨Bell services gladly brought us a crib for our 2 year old, and we moved the pull-out chair into the bedroom for our oldest (4). This way, we could all sleep in the same room while on vacation, but we’d have a separate living space while the kids were napping or sleeping (our kiddos are early to bed / early to rise !).

✨At this point, rain on my Disney trips is just part of the fun! Here’s a couple tips that will help you navigate rainy Disney days!
🌧️BYOP - bring your own poncho! Theyll cost you 5x as much if you have to panic buy them in the parks (but if you forget, they have them!
🌧️Use a secure stroller rain cover! Make sure it stays in place (we’ve learned this the hard way and came back to a soaked stroller)
🌧️Bring extra shoes/socks. Nobody likes wet feet !!
🌧️Plan to stop in at an indoor attraction or grab something to eat during the rain, usually it passes quickly in FL!
✨Some answers to FAQ’s about rain in disney- no, disney VERY rarely closes during storms, most attractions stay up and running (some outdoor attractions will close temporarily) No, disney wont refund you if it rains on your park day Yes, everyone leaves during rain- its the perfect time to take advantage of low crowds and low wait times! No, it’s not that bad, if youre prepared for it!!
