The Westin Costa Rica All-Inclusive, family-friendly Resort is a gorgeous 2,300 acre property complete with a golf course, multiple pools, 7 restaurants and a beautiful beach. One of my favorite parts is that the expansiveness allows for on-site hiking trails with a wealth of mango trees that attracts an abundance of wildlife. Although it is family-friendly, there is a Club option that allows for better room location and access to an adults-only pool, restaurant and bar.

Margaritaville Costa Rica is not your typical Margaritaville resort! Another authentic, small Costa Rica resort, locally managed for over 30 years, with 1 pool that includes a swim up bar. Multiple room types including an amazing Jimmy Buffet suite (video below) if you really want to spoil yourself! 2 restaurants plus the 5 o’clock somewhere bar that also serves food. I like the proximity of this resort to a town for other dining and shopping options as well as the gorgeous beach you have access to!

Villas Sol is a quintessential Costa Rica resort. Locally owned and operated for 35 years and definitely not short on charm. All inclusive plan available for 2 double or 1 queen bed rooms or family villas that can sleep up to 8 with a full kitchen. The management staff is kind and friendly and go out of your way to help you feel at home during your stay. With 2 pools, beach access, delicious food and gorgeous views at every turn, it makes a perfect relaxing few days to bookend a week of adventure in Costa Rica.
