We couldn't resist taking a break from our Balkan Tour memories to share with you a video from Wadi Hidan, Jordan.

We got to know a sweet young Bedouin while we were hiking the Jordan Trail. He invited us to visit his village after the trail and promised to take us an a hike like never before.

We found our friend Mohammed's village and set out on a trek closed to tourists. We not only found lush water in the desert, but also waterfalls, warm pools, and hot springs.

Summer Camping in Northern Macedonia, 2019

We left Greece for a road trip through the Balkans with no route or specific destination in mind. We found ourselves camping on the shore of Lake Ohrid the first night. We spent the next morning cycling around the lake before we made our way toward Kosovo, which turned out to be just the rest in nature we needed.

Angkor Wat, Cambodia
Winter 2010

Angkor Wat is known as the heart and soul of Cambodia. Ranking high on many travelers bucket lists, the ancient temple complex is located in the thick Cambodian forest. It is known as one of the biggest religious sites in the world, which understandably draws an intense crowd from countless countries.

We made it to the site before sunrise and stayed until after sunset, mesmerized by both the detail and the pure massiveness of the historical site.

We are looking forward to sharing more stories from Cambodia in the days to come!

Last spring was the most epic of our 10 years of travel. We rented a motorcycle in Rishikesh, India and headed into the Himalayas.

We rode through the mountains, the villages, temples, endless trekking routes. The mountains were massive to say the least, leaving us in awe no matter which direction we looked.

Day 1: Travel Memories & Reflections

A blissful sunset in Wadi Rum, Jordan.
We hiked under the scorching desert sun all day, which made the sunset that much more juicy and rewarding.

Wadi Rum is one of the biggest, most well-known sites on the Jordan Trail. The route for the trail running across the entire country from North to South Jordan was completed in 2017, which was the year we learned about and set out on the trail.

We were in the first ten people to make it across the entire route, which made for some interesting interactions with local farmers who simply couldn’t wrap their heads around the fact that we were walking across their country by choice.

Remember seeing The Marshan? Lawrence of Arabia? These are just two of the many movies filmed at Wadi Rum. Seem like Mars to anyone else?

The virus has taken over our newsfeeds. The radio. Every conversation we hear in the grocery store.

If you are anything like us, you are ready for a breather. Ready to read, absorb, have dialogue about ANYTHING other than the virus.

Following our hearts has led us on quite the journey around the world! We have had to let go of fears and limiting thoughts to come into a place of courage and trust, often times stepping into the unknown.

The most common question we're asked is, "what's next for you?". At this moment, we don't know, and that's okay. We have confidence in the journey and continue to take it one step at a time. We rest in acceptance that we don't quite know. We trust. We breathe. We accept.

We finished our five week adventure through Amsterdam, NYC, the Balkans, and Ireland with a bang at the Tree Music Festival. We had an incredible four days dancing to live music, attending yoga classes and cacao ceremonies, and most importantly, catching up with our community.

Molly's one day at home has been spent driving a total of 7.5 hours to see a dentist in Mexico (plus packing for next adventure ;)). We're feeling blessed to have been born in a country whose passports allow us to cross borders freely, but wishing our world's rights weren't based on birth location.

Watching planes come in during our layover in LA on our 30+ hour journey home and reflecting on how epic the past month of traveling around Amsterdam, NYC, the Balkans, and Ireland has been.

When we set out on the road almost ten years ago we never imaged that it would turn into a forever lifestyle. Here we are over 30 countries later and our journey across the globe continues. The travel path has led to a passion for humanitarian work and a deep love for practicing yoga whenever we can.

We continue to follow our hearts one day at a time, each day bringing new adventures, lessons, and memories. We look forward to sharing our adventures, stories, photos, and videos with you on this new page.
