We are so thankful to say that our cabin is ok after Helene! We are here now and such a sigh of relief to be able to come check on it. Our neighborhood association is so amazing, the roads are cleared and power is already starting to come on for parts of the neighborhood. Please consider giving to relief funds for Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. This area needs so much help to recover!

After a day of sightseeing on the Blue Ridge Parkway, winery tours, hiking, shopping, visiting Asheville, or any one of the many awesome things to do in Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, a soak in our hot tub as the sun sets seems like just the right thing to do 🙂

Ready for summer? Come float down our river! We provide river tubes so you can enjoy the lake or the river that runs right through our community. It reminds us of summer camp (decades ago). Float down the river, walk up the neighborhood road and do it all over again. All inside our private community!

The main bedroom in our cabin is a retreat within a retreat! Turn off all the lights and enjoy the soft glow of the fairy lights, turn on one of the dimmable reading lights and enjoy a good book, or just Netflix and chill watching the 32” smart TV.

We’re a little obsessed over our coffee! We’ve done a lot of exploring and traveling over the years, and it’s the attention to detail we’ve loved seeing from the hosts we’ve stayed with. Like coffee creamer; it always seems to be the one thing we forget (repeatedly) on a grocery run! So in case you do too, we’ve got you covered!

Thinking back to only a few months ago ... there is nothing like seeing the fall colors at the cabin. Well, maybe when you’re at the lake and seeing the perfect reflection of the trees on the calm water… love all the scenery surrounding us!
