A great series of events coming in May to St Ives.

THE GOOD DAYS ARE COMING BACK
The regular band of poets, singers and musicians are heading back to Norway Square for Bob Devereux's St Ives Literature Festival which takes place from May 17 to 23.
Then they will be doing at all again at the 15-day St Ives September Festival from September 11 to 25.

Exciting News!

Geevor Tin Mine is running a Facebook competition for all primary school aged children.

We are asking children aged between 5 and 11 (inclusive) to share their pictures of anything to do with Cornish Mining. This can be a painting, drawing, photograph or any other creative idea!

Our favourite entry will win free admission to Geevor for their class and their own special prize. This competition will run until Wednesday 27th January at Midday. All entries should be submitted via Facebook either on this post or by messenger to Geevor (so parents/teachers you'll need to help!)

The winner will be announced via Geevor's page, best of luck!

If you are interested in staying in Blue Elvin for your holiday in 2021, please go to Aspects Holidays website, and search for Blue Elvin, St Ives.
Who knows what next year will bring? But we can at least plan some holidays and hope they happen.
Blue Elvin sleeps six, and has parking in front of the property. It is a 5 minutes walk from the gorgeous Porthmeor Beach, famous for surfing.
The town is 5 minutes walk too, with lovely independent shops and super restaurants. Galleries are everywhere, if that's your thing!

While staying in St Ives, a day out at Minack Theatre is to be recommended!
Its a beautiful theatre cut into the very rocks of the cliffs.
You can, of course, see plays and live music there. Even now, in Covid times.

But an afternoon, just wandering around the theatre itself, maybe having an ice cream or a coffee, is just lovely too.

And Porthcurno Beach nearby is gorgeous.

These pieces have all sold in the first few days of launching our NHS Charity Exhibition where a minimum of 10% proceeds goes directly to frontline NHS workers and volunteers who are caring for Covid-19 patients.
