Love festivals, but not a fan of the footprint they leave behind? Here's our 8 tips to go green at festivals this summer:

1️⃣ Carpool crew – If public transport isn't an option, share the ride and make new friends while cutting one of any festival's biggest carbon costs. Check out initiatives like Liftshare to find carpool buddies. Plus, more time for dancing in the car! 🚗

2️⃣ BYOB – Bring your own bottle to stay hydrated while reducing waste. Look out for foldable water bottles if you want to pop it in your pocket till your next refill💧

3️⃣ Crafty cutlery – Three meals a day adds up, so avoid disposables and take your own cutlery. Also things taste weirdly better with a proper knife and fork 😋

4️⃣ Thrifty threads – Get creative and remember the most sustainable clothes are the ones you already own. Raid your wardrobe, swap outfits with friends, or grab any extras from charity shops or vintage sellers 🌈

5️⃣ Biodegradable beauty – Choose green toiletries from biodegradable glitter to stick deodorant and flushable wet wipes 💄

6️⃣ Sustainable snacking – Opt for local, organic, and vegetarian/vegan options and support vendors who prioritise sustainability 🌱

7️⃣ Clean up after yourself – An obvious one, but so important 🗑

Missing Glastonbury this year? Us too, not that we're not bitter 😉 Here's five smaller (dare we say better?) UK festivals that still have tickets left:

1. Latitude
Calling all music lovers and stand-up addicts, Latitude is a magical collision of creativity and entertainment. This year's lineup features Pulp and Metronomy plus legends of the comedy circuit like James Acaster

2. All Points East
