All the sightings of these beautiful creatures in the Destin are such a precious gift from nature! Lucky tourists to have this experience!

TRACKING WHALE SHARKS: Just three days after 2 whale sharks were tagged off the coast of Destin-Fort Walton Beach, we can now see their movements. “Oliver” has made his way near Pensacola Beach, while "Ivey" is still hanging out near Destin (we can't blame her).

Read the full story on this week's tagging expedition and our interview with Okaloosa Coastal Resource Manager Alex Fogg, and Eric Hoffmayer, a biologist with NOAA Fisheries.

They both shed light on the ongoing study focused on conducting a risk assessment for whale sharks in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
