One of my favorite spots in all of Dollywood is the Robert F. Thomas Chapel. It’s just a one room church with simple pews but a welcoming retreat from the busyness of the park. The chapel was built in 1973 and is named after the local doctor and evangelist who delivered Dolly Parton. Many of the items inside, the pews, doors, etc. were donated from the local area. It’s even more beautiful at Christmas.
