Have you ever been to the Springville Museum? Hidden amid the rolling hills of Springville, this museum features historical agricultural equipment, a variety of vintage household and tool items, and an entire home constructed in the 1800s, fully furnished and with an intriguing backstory. The museum is open Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Today is spontaneous picture day. 📸 This is the view atop Beetle Rock, one of the first major trails that you will see heading into the sequoias.

Beetle Rock is right across the road from the Giant Forest Museum in the Sequoia National Park. Not only can you see across the valley from this rock, but you can also enjoy a paved walkway that takes you through the forest. 🌲

Tulare County businesses, residents, and visitors! The Sequoia Tourism Council is set to have their Fall 2024 Concierge College on September 26, 2024. We are still welcoming registrations.

Attendees will participate in sessions focused on the value of visitor traffic to Tulare County, and the national parks and forest.

Concierge College is free to employees and supervisors working in hotels, restaurants, retailers, and other points of interest that receive visitor traffic, as well as community partners interested in learning more. Sign up today!

Springville Museum

Come discover Hospital Rock with me! Hospital Rock is an archeological site that is open to the public. You can find pictographs from the over 500 Potwisha Native Americans, as well as mortar holes. There is a trail carved out that leads to its scenic waterfall and raging river. Visitors should remain cautious of the water’s power when swimming.

Have you ever been to Crescent Meadow? 🌿 In a 1.5-mile trail, you'll be able to see a lush meadow surrounded by Sequoia trees. It's not far from Moro Rock, either, making it a great hiking location in Tulare County. Share your Crescent Meadow photos below.

Have you discovered Moro Rock? Climbing Moro Rock takes you thousands of feet above the mountainous ground below. The concrete and stone stairway on this granite dome is secured with rails to keep travelers safe and is one of many adventures you can experience within California's Sequoia National Park. Would you go to Moro Rock? 🌄

The Chinese Cultural Center is a hidden gem in the Central Valley. The entire facility was built without nails, but instead used Japanese architecture to piece the building together through grooves in the wood. Visitors can bask in rich Chinese history and artifacts, all maintained by a local family.
