Did you know that there is an apartment above the Town Square Fire Station in Disneyland? It gave Walt Disney a place to stay while Disneyland was being built. After the park opened it was a private getaway for Walt and his family. Look up at the fire station when you walk in the park and you will see a light on in the window. That light is never turned off. But you don’t have to just look up and wonder what it looks like on the inside. You can actually go inside his apartment if you take the Walt’s Main Street Story Tour on your visit. This 90 minute tour includes:

-A walking tour down Main Street U.S.A. with a tour guide
-A visit to Walt’s apartment
-Refreshments on the apartments patio
-PhotoPass photos of your party with complimentary digital
downloads

The tour is $160 and is offered several times throughout the day. My family and I took the tour and I'm happy we did. It is definitely worth it!

It’s my happy place and I leave all my worries behind me. I joined the Vacation Wizards so I can help you plan your magical vacation. I am a graduate of College of Disney Knowledge and UniversalandU and read up on all the latest news to keep myself up to date.
