Spain is one of the most beautiful and interesting countries in Europe.It contains dramatic mountain scenery (Picos d'Europa, Pyrennees,...),fabulous golden beaches, lush green fjords (Galicia) and arid desert (Canary Islands). Its architecture is as varied as its scenery. Many towns have Roman remains (Lugo, Toledo, Tarragona,...). In the North see lots of fabulous Mudejar (a mix of Moorish and C

hristian architecture) with some great examples in Zaragoza and Taragoza. Barcelona is renowned for its remarkable Art Nouveau architecture and in the south see lots of world famous Moorish architecture such as the Alhambra Palace and the Mezquita in Cordoba.
