Disney's Castaway Cay, Bahamas - What do I love most about it? Oh, so many, many things! Umbrellas, beach chairs, hammocks, food, Diet Coke and soft serve included. It's safe, clean, relaxing, beautiful, with no tendering and easy transportation around the walkable island, if needed. Exceptional kids club for my family and a 18+ beach for me. Shopping, Disney characters, photo opportunities, and tons of activities to choose from. Pretty much the best stop in the Bahamas. I can't wait to go back! Here are pics from our Day 2 on the Disney Dream back in April.

Disney Dream - Day 1 - First, how cute are Minnie and Mickey as they greet guests in the Atrium. 😁😁Makes me smile ear to ear! This day was a bit of a blur, so I forgot to snap as many pics as I would have liked. Embarking the ship, we went straight too our cabin, dropped our things off and headed to Cabanas to grab lunch. It had been a long day of travel (read on) and we were starved! There were so many things to eat and try out. It was so fun to meet up with friends and family and relax.

Our 6:00am direct flight from DC to Orlando was canceled an hour and a half before we left for the airport. With some quick thinking, I was able to book us direct into Tampa and we rented a car that we drove across the state to Port Canaveral. Here is what I learned:

1. I will always fly in the day before my cruise begins. I want to get to the port early so I can enjoy all the fun on the ship.
