I've been spending a few days seeing sights around Cairo I've never seen before. Today it was the Nilometer and wandering around historic Cairo. It was wonderful!

The Obelisk of Senusret in Downtown Cairo in Heliopolis, was interesting to see today and not many tourists go there, its outdoor museum area, had a few interesting pieces too.

I spent today exploring Islamic Cairo by touring the Mosque of Sultan Hasan and the Mosque of Ibn-Tolun. Enjoying parts of the city I have never seen before.
