Icon of the Seas is a cruise ship built like no other for Royal Caribbean International and will be the lead ship of the icon class. She is scheduled to enter service in early 2024 out of Port Miami in the United States.

The ship has six multi-fuel Wartsila engines generating 67,500 kW (90,520 hp) of power. The engines can be powered with both LNG and distillate fuel. The ship contains other alternative energy features, like the use of fuel cells to produce electricity and fresh water. Icon of the Seas is the first Royal Caribbean vessel to use such technology.

At 1,198 feet and 20 decks with seven swimming pools and six water slides. The company claims the ship has the tallest waterfall, the tallest water slide, the largest waterpark, and the first suspended infinity pool of any ship. This ship is truly made for the high seas.

First:
make an appointment at Usps.com or walk in to your county's courthouse

The form you’ll need is a DS-11 filled out in BLACK ink only!

(Yes fill out the information about your parents on the second page!)

If you filled out the form online,

PRINT AND BRING TO APPOINTMENT.

Bring your STATE ID OR DRIVERS LICENSE NOT YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD
And bring your birth certificate
(can’t be laminated, torn, taped together, or stained.)

❗️PSA ❗️... A lot of people do not know or understand this...

If your US passport expires within 3-6 months of your travel date from the US to Europe, YOU CANNOT TRAVEL ... and basically to any other international destination!

My friends husband’s passport expires May 22nd, 2023. They tried to board their flight to Germany on March 12, 2023 from LAX. At the boarding gate they were denied entry and told, “sorry your passport expires in less than 6 months so you’re not going”.

Hard lesson learned: your passport expiration date IS NOT your passport expiration date - it’s 6 months before the expiration date (some countries 3 months).

Hopefully someone on here can learn from their mistake.

Carnival Cruise lines alert 🚨

Just received an advance notice email from Carnival, and there are a handful of dining changes coming to all Carnival cruises effective 11/7:

- Steakhouse and other specialty dining prices will be increasing. Steakhouse is increasing to $48 (from $42). Other prices not yet specified.
- For cruises through the end of the year, if you prepay online before sailing, the current prices will be honored.
- In the Main Dining Room, a second entree is complimentary but third entrees will begin being charged $5.
- Soft serve ice cream and frozen yogurt will be served from 11am to midnight (formerly 24 hours).
