We made it!! These pictures were all taken before we got very, very lost on some back trails. We’re doing it! We’re boondocking in the most phenomenal spot. Pikes Peak in the background and mountains all around... What a spot we’ve found. So grateful to have met another RV family who inspired and even coached us along in how to get set up off grid. This is how we imagined RV life. So glad we are finally doing it!

We’ve never seen this before!

Well! After a month of sheltering in place, we’re heading north. We’ve made the most of our month of quarantine: read lots of books, got on track with homeschool, started fitness challenges as a family (minus Judah), and took some epic scenic drives. And now we’re off!

We’re shocked!

At our last spot in Jacksonville! We met the best of the best. Like and subscribe to his channel.

We stopped in Jacksonville for our last prayer stop along the east coast. We were greeted by this wonderful police officer! Turns out, he’s a fellow RVer.

Chance encounter! We completed the trail and ran in to these new friends. Only got my phone out after they crossed our path. Still! Pretty cool.

We had never heard of Stone Mountain until about an hour before we pulled in. You all told us it would be worth a visit, and it sure was! We had an amazing time. Who knew? This place is just 45 minutes northeast of Atlanta, and we had no idea what we've been missing all this time. It's beautiful. It's well-managed. The hospitality is hands down, the best we have ever received at any park. You do not want to miss stopping here. Right off I-20, it could not be more convenient. With just three days, we didn't get even close to seeing everything, but what we did see, we loved. For sure, we will be back! Here's the link for the Allstays app I mentioned: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/camp-rv... Yes, it's $10, and I suppose $10 seems like a lot for an app. Trust me. It's not. Worth every penny, you will be using this for everything once you are on the road. My favorite part of the app is that you can click on the campgrounds before you get there to check out pics. I'm sure it's saved us from staying in places that are less than desirable. You may have noticed that in this episode, we changed our channel name. We just felt that "Find Your Road" was a bit more fitting for us. What do you think? I hope you enjoyed watching our journey. We're having a great time and hope to see you out here.

Our Story

We still can't believe it! We dreamed about it, planned for it, took some significant steps to make way for it, and now we're doing it! We're traveling full-time with our two kids and two dogs in our fifth wheel.

We had gotten in a rut as a family. We were busy all the time but disconnected. When we were together, we were so exhausted that most of the time we would retreat to our separate bedrooms or offices to be alone. Isolated from one another, we knew we needed a change, but we weren't sure what to do.

We stumbled across some Youtube channels about fulltime RV travel, and we started to dream again. What if we could step out and explore the world together? What if we could travel with our kids right now, in these last teenage years, before they head off into their own lives? What if?

Before we knew it, this dream had taken hold of us. As a family, we started watching travel videos toegther. Our family dinner conversations were becoming exciting again. A new vision was bringing us back together.
