Bangkok Coach Station
Bangkok has the following three long-distance bus stations:

1. Bangkok North Bus Terminal (North Bus Terminal)
Tel: 66-02-9 36-2852
To the northern province of Thailand, get off at BTS Mo Chit station, but it is still quite a distance to the station, about half an hour's walk.

How to get to north bus station
No. 77: take bus no. 77 from BTS Victory Monument. In fact, bus no. 77 goes through all BTS stations on the way from Victory Monument to Mo chit station.
Route 138: you can get to Saphan Kwai(N7), the previous stop of BTS Mo chit(N8).
No. 3: near khao SAN road, you can take bus no. 3 to Mo Chit.
Taxi: if you take a taxi, the driver knows how to get to Mo Chit. Some people call it Mo Chit Song (" Mo Chit 2 ") or Mo Chit Mai (" new Mo Chit "). This is because the old main station is also known as Mo Chit

2. Bangkok East Bus Station Ekkamai Terminal
Tel: 66-02-391-2504
Go to the eastern provinces of Thailand such as PattayaPattaya, Rayong, Koh Samet.
There are two kinds of cars running here: one is blue and it doesn't stop. You need to buy a ticket at the station. The other is red, with stops on the way. You can get on the bus first and buy tickets on the bus according to your destination.

How to get to east bus station
Take the BTS to Ekkamai station, where the bus station is nearby

3. Southern Bus Terminal (sai dai mai)
Bangkok Southern Bus Terminal, or Bangkok Sai Tai Taling Chan Southern Bus Terminal, is the full name for Bangkok's new Bus south station
Tel: 66-02-4-7192
There are no metro stations or light rail stations near the long-distance bus station to the southern province of Thailand. Taxi is a good choice.

Hualamphong Railway Station

It is the starting point of four railway lines in Thailand and the largest railway station in Thailand. The railway station has two entrances, one is the main entrance and the other is the west gate facing the canal. In the north of the hall is the ticket window, and there are two floors on both sides of the east and west. The first floor is mainly a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, dessert shops and so on. The second floor is mostly the information desk of some travel companies, as well as the airline booking office. There are also two massage rooms, which are good for relaxing after a long journey. To the south of the hall are the atms of seven or eight Banks. In the southeast corner of the hall, there is a small side door, from which you can go to the nearby KFC, and also directly to the street outside the station, the door is open in the daytime.

How to get to the railway station

If you take the subway, there is a direct access to the railway station under the Hualamphong station. If you take the bus, bus no. 29 ends at the train station, and bus no. 25 and no. 40 both stop there.
It should be noted that the morning and evening are the time when most trains leave, and there is heavy traffic around the station. So if you're going to take a bus or taxi, leave early.

Ticket

There are 22 Windows on the left and right sides of the ticket entrance, 1-11 Windows on the left and 12-22 Windows on the right. Window no. 1 is the Change Refund window, window no. 2 is the priority window for foreigners and the sale of general tickets (such as train tickets and buses), window no. 3-11 and window no. 15-22 are for express and express tickets. Window 12-14 is for short and medium distance tickets.

The station service

1. The Information desk is open 24 hours a day and provides free train schedules and ticket prices. Note that this is the only authentic information desk. Some crooks are dressed as staff to trick tourists, so be sure to ask questions here.
2. There are two charging standards for toilets in station, 10 baht for those with shower and 2 baht for those without.
3, The train station food is very good, the price is similar to the outside. Usually buy the ticket first and then order the food. The ticket can be refunded.
