She lost her partner to cancer, and now she wants to pay it forward to someone else whose life has been impacted by cancer for all the generosity she was shown during a very difficult time in her life:

“In giving back to those who share the experience of cancer, I hope we can generate a ripple of goodness such that no person going through it will ever feel alone.”

So we’re giving away TWO FREE SPOTS on my January Cuba trip to someone affected by cancer and a travel companion of their choice! Plus, she’s throwing in a cool $1,000 to use toward their flights!��How amazing is that?!

We're looking for someone special who has been impacted by cancer—whether they have had their own cancer struggle, lost a loved one, or were a caretaker for someone with cancer—we want to hear your stories and give a deserving person the trip of a lifetime. Wanna meet me in CUBA? 🇨🇺

I am frickin’ pumped to announce that we’re going back in time and heading to Cuba for New Years Eve 2024. Because what better way to ring in the new year than in one of the most sought-after (but difficult to get to) destinations in the world? 🎉

You might be thinking, “I thought Americans couldn’t travel to Cuba,” and you’re not entirely wrong…🤔

By traveling with my group and having the proper licensing combined with our local connections, you’ll be traveling to Cuba in a totally legal and authentic way that most tourists aren’t able to experience.

This Positive Impact Trip will be 100% in support of the Cuban people, and we’ll be immersed in Cuban culture and engaging with and supporting locals the entire time. We’ll even be having a special give back day, where you’ll get to donate supplies directly to the local Cubans who need it most.

Have you ever gotten home from traveling and felt different?

I’ve taken so many trips where I return home as a different person.

Last week, I shared how travel is more than getting from one place to another, and I believe that.

When you allow travel to transform you, it turns into so much more than taking a trip or enjoying a vacation.

Travel can be powerful. Magical. A catalyst for huge transitions and changes in your life.

While travel is a catalyst, what actually changes is you.

So the next time you plan a trip (and again after you return), ask yourself:

“How can I use this experience to stretch, learn, and grow into new ways of existing and engaging with the world?”

There have been a handful of moments in my life where I’ve been so wowed by something that I’m truly speechless.

One of those moments now forever engrained in my memory will be sitting in the Sahara desert in total silence as I watched the sun rise and fall. ✨

Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is and photos do not do it justice, but this one captures just a little bit of the magic I’ve been experiencing the past few days.

It’s not an exaggeration when I say that travel changes you. Experiences like these are truly life-changing, and I never return home the same person I was when I left.

Once in a while, I see a photo of a place, and it mesmerizes me so much that I know I have to go. So much so that I’ll plan a whole trip around it.

I felt that way about Cappadocia, Turkey; Sintra, Portugal; and Chefchaouen, Morocco. I will travel across the world to see something in person that a photo can’t do justice.

And when it comes to the United States, Antelope Canyon has always topped that list. The most expensive photo in the world was taken between these sandstone walls, and once you’ve been here, you’ll see why.

This place is absolutely stunning—it’s like being on another planet.

There’s so much more to Mexico than Cancún.

I love taking people to Mexico City. It’s a magical place.

It’s ALWAYS magical, no matter what time of the year you go.

The architecture. The culture. The history. The FOOD.

If you love the major cities in Europe, then you’ll instantly fall in love with Mexico City. It’s the 5th largest city in the world with over 9 MILLION people living there.

Sometimes I feel out of place with people my age, being single in my late 30’s without kids.

It’s not that common to be like me…or so I used to think.

But what I’ve learned in the last year is that there are actually lots of us out there.

The world is big and full of people just like you if you know where to find them.

Part of the beauty of my group trips is finding your tribe in places you didn’t know existed. And realizing that your tribe doesn’t always look exactly how you might have pictured it.

I have met the most amazing people traveling from all walks of life.

Some are single like me and have been through horrible divorces and breakups and are using travel to heal and start over.

Others are happily married with kids and just want to get away for a bit and try something new.

And some are just invested in their careers and don’t have time to make new friends or plan complicated vacations.

Whatever the reason people have to join a group trip and regardless of the path that they took to get here, we all have one thing in common:

We want to experience something different and meaningful.

It sounds cliché, but I walk away from every single trip blown away not just by the beautiful country I just visited, but even more so by the people I’ve met and the bonds we’ve formed in just one short week.

It’s honestly incredible, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

There’s someone, and something, for everyone on my trips, and even though you might show up alone, I promise that’s the last thing you’ll feel as you leave.

You + me + Arizona?

I've had so many women ask me about my Arizona retreat (and US trips), and I'm excited to announce it's in the works for the end of May 2023!

And I’m bringing the amazingly talented Krista Parks along for the ride to lead it with me!

We'll be hiking, visiting Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon, soaking up all the vortex vibes of Sedona, exploring the ghost town of Jerome, doing yoga, reiki, and astrology, and drinking wine (of course).

It'll be a little bit hippy dippy, a little bit relaxing, and a s**t ton of fun.

Transformational travel isn’t just about getting from point A to B. It’s not about counting countries. It’s more than just sipping cocktails on a beach or checking off all the hottest tourist spots.
Travel is an amazing opportunity to learn, grow and embrace new experiences that will have a positive impact on the people and the world around us—and long after returning home.

Travel can be so incredibly powerful and magical. It can be the catalyst for big life changes, and, if you’re lucky, a great awakening.
But the truth is, transformation doesn’t come from travel itself—it comes from you, the traveler.

Sure, travel might inspire change. The amazing places we visit, the people we meet, the experiences we have—all of these things have the ability to influence us for the better and give us perspectives that motivate us to do and be better.

But the real change comes from within. The incredible power of travel is in its ability to help us all to grow, learn and heal. And that growth should continue long after you return home and unpack your bags.
