They shouldn’t worry about the calories of the cookies, the diet the person they’re selling to is on, or the body flaw that’s causing a person not to purchase. Diet and body shame is learned. Please please be aware of this when you’re approached. A simple no thank you, is completely acceptable. In fact, it’s perfect. Thank you, from parents of little girls everywhere 🍪 (chocolate chip cookie emoji)

Just finished listening to this audiobook, Good for a Girl and can’t recommend it enough to all female high school and college athletes ( especially important for runners but definitely important/ helpful for all sports). In my opinion it is a definite must read/ listen for parents and coaches of female athletes. Thank you Stacey for the recommendation

Great news! By request from a number of former participants I’ll be hosting my annual Wellness Positivity Project for women 40+! The small group will be limited to 25 participants cost is $50 which you can Venmo to me at Julietuccird

The 30 day small group wellness project is done completely through Facebook, participation is strongly encouraged- the more you participate the more you will get out of the month. This is not a diet or weight focused group but instead a wellness project! We will focus on building positive habits, creating a positive relationship with food, movement and body image and debunking so many wellness myths that actually do more harm than good!
It’s a 30 day project and it starts Tuesday, September 19th!

Most women start having hormone shifts in their late 30s well before they actually hit menopause (average age is 51 in the US) but the changes that occur during perimenopause those 7-12 years beforehand can be challenging to navigate! Weight gain, change in body composition, change in cholesterol, blood sugar, mood, anxiety, etc. Healthy strategies we used in our teens, 20s and early 30s don’t serve you as well but small changes in your strategies can help! Well, did you know menopause is just the 1 day that you’ve been without a period for 12 consecutive months and the average age is 51, but perimenopause is a stage in life often starting in one’s late 30s or early 40s and lasting up to 10 years. This life stage is marked by changing or shifting hormone levels and most women experience some unpleasant symptoms such as weight changes, body composition changes, cholesterol & blood sugar changes, digestion issues and mood swings just to name a few. So maybe you think you are too young to learn about perimenopause, but the truth is if you in your 30s, 40s or 50s you are actually a perfect age for this seminar.
