There are NYE 🍾 parties at several of the resort hotels at Universal Orlando, from lobby parties to rooftop celebrations and parties on the Piazza, Universal will be bringing in 2025 like no other, so if we are planning and after Christmas trip for 2025 we can make a note to add on a NYE party!

New in 2025! The Disney Destiny! 🚢

Disney Destiny is an upcoming eighth cruise ship owned and operated by Disney Cruise Line, and will officially set sail on its maiden voyage on November 20, 2025.

This new cruise ship will feature a first-of-its-kind design theme to capture the legacies of beloved Disney stories and characters – and their dynamic dualities. Heroes and Villains! We're so excited for this!

And Marvel fans, you’re going to love what’s in store onboard the Disney Destiny. The ship will feature a large number of superhero-inspired touches – starting with the Grand Hall, the ship’s centerpiece. The theming will be inspired by Marvel Studios’ Black Panther films and featured will be a statue of T’Challa, the Black Panther and King of Wakanda himself!

Guests can enjoy a range of immersive dining experiences, including themed restaurants inspired by beloved Disney films like Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King, which will feature music from the beloved animated film The Lion King as well as theming inspired by the African savanna.

When you visit Graceland you can tour his planes as well as the museum full of memorabilia! Honestly we were disappointed with the state of the planes…. They need to be restored to their original glory!

We toured Elvis Presley’s Graceland here in Memphis! I don’t know what I expecting, but when we left I felt underwhelmed, I did learn some interesting facts and things for my Elvis loving clients that would be a must do! We found some great places to eat and stay in the area too! If you are considering a trip to the Memphis area, let’s chat about things to do and see!

Back onboard after a great stroll on the island and lunch, now time for a little work! Then dinner at the Lawn Club and unfortunately we have to pack to go home….. We take great pride in traveling to as many destinations as we can, and yes we pay for them…. And it gives me the opportunity to experience these destinations in advance so I am that much more prepared to share information with my clients. This cruise has had a few firsts for us: We had a medical evacuation on board and needed to return closer to land for the helicopter. Crazy weather! We had an itinerary change on embarkation day which meant our day in Key West was moved to day 4. Now what that means for cruising is that we had to do an immigration check to disembark in Key West. Now you are probably thinking, wait that is the United States, yes you are right, however we had already traveled out of the country to Bimini Bahamas, so that means we now had to go through immigration to enter the US. Our original itinerary had us leaving Fort Lauderdale and the 1st stop was Key West, no immigration required, we were still in the US. So that was new for me! 😀 We are traveling with my Mother in Love who is having a great time and allowing me to learn about cruising with older family members and their cruise experience! We have made it to Bimini in the Bahamas!🏝️ This is a port we have never done before, so I’m taking one for the team and checking it for you!
