From US 395, take Benton Crossing Road (also known as Green Church Road). Travel east about 2.5 miles until you cross two cattle guards. Turn right just past the second cattle guard and follow the road, always taking the left fork whenever there's a choice. About a mile down, you'll reach a parking area where there's a sign and wooden boardwalk that leads about 200 yards away to the pools. 💦

The West Thumb Geyser Basin is a unique thermal area lying right on the shore of Yellowstone Lake. To reach it, drive 0.2 miles north of the West Thumb Junction, or 20.8 miles southwest of Fishing Bridge Junction on the Fishing Bridge to West Thumb section of the Grand Loop Road.

It is a safe bet to say it typically snows in NYC at some point during the Christmas season. Historically, it has snowed specifically on Christmas Day in NYC about 22% of the time. But between the stores and the shows and the beauty of Central Park, New York City is a Winter Wonderland, snow or not. 🌨️⛄❄️

The mysterious and beautiful Antelope Canyon is one of the most spectacular slot canyons in the world. Antelope Canyon includes two separate, scenic slot canyon sections, referred to individually as Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon. Lower Antelope Canyon has been given the nickname “The Corkscrew” while the Navajo term referencing it is Hazdistazí for “spiral rock arches.”

💙 is like a waterfall, it pours out of you forever 💙
Never in recorded history have all three of the Falls completely frozen, but the smaller two (American and Bridal Veil”) have frozen a few times. When it happens, most of the water on the surfaces of Lake Erie and the Niagara river is already frozen so the volume of water going over the falls is reduced anyway.

Manhattan is the most densely populated of New York City’s 5 boroughs. The Dutch bought it from the Native Americans and called it New Amsterdam, then the English took it over and changed the name to New York. The name Manhattan comes from the Munsi language of the Lenni Lenape meaning island of many hills. 🙂

🤗 The best view comes after the hardest climb🤗
Koko Head hike offers an extremely magnificent view from the top of the mountain with a view of downtown Honolulu, Waikiki and also Hawaii Kai and Hanauma Bay. The hike should take anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on your level of fitness. 😉

Do you know that Cinderella Castle stands at 189 feet tall, compared to Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland which is just 77 feet tall? Both castles used "forced perspective" techniques to make them appear larger - as each gets taller, its width gets smaller. This has the added effect of making fireworks that explode behind them look larger and more impressive. 😍
