Today, June 21st, is the longest day or night of the year (depending on the hemisphere) and it is also a day to celebrate a species with one of the longest necks in the world...none other than the Giraffe!

World Giraffe Day was established by the Giraffe Conservation Foundation to create awareness and shed light on the challenges giraffes face in the wild.

Somewhere down the line someone decided that today should also be International Yoga day...however, Giraffes don't quite have the flexibility for yoga!
