The front is always at its prettiest in - (however those heads will soon be cut off to prevent the seed spreading to unwanted habitats... while we didn't plant them, acquiring such a species means doing ones due diligence)!

Had 3 of these beauties catching worms from the lawn this afternoon at for quite some time. They are super cute to watch, and there is nothing like their song. All these years on, I never tire of in the backyard! 🥰

How exciting!! This has been closed since early 2020! 🥳

‼️We’re reopening Cliff Drive to vehicles between Leura and Katoomba from 9am tomorrow, Friday 31 May. Hooray‼️

This section of Cliff Drive has been closed to vehicles for an extended period, due to multiple natural disasters, so we urge everyone moving through the area to travel safely.

To help improve safety, Council has adjusted the width of traffic lanes and installed safety barriers to increase the separation between vehicles and pedestrians.

If you've got a planting container that retains too much water (this grows in an old trough), then plant . It loves water, so has thrived where other things had perished. My son loves stewed rhubarb on greek yoghurt, so was delighted with the latest crop!

So glad I cleaned and refilled the bird bath today, the were very grateful being such a hot day - (there were at least 20 chilling in the backyard at a time). There's something very satisfying and therapeutic about watching animals enjoy a drink 🥰
