Have you visited Pine Lake Boardwalk?

One of Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service Great Short Walks, 33k from Deloraine.

The easiest location to view this annual, vibrant display of Richea scoparia, endemic to Tasmania. You will also see an ancient species, the Pencil Pine. Having evolved before flowering plants and is only found in Tasmania, restricted to sub-alpine conditions above 800m.
