It's , but we could eat tacos everyday! Who's with me???

Eating tacos everyday, along with other amazing local fare is exactly what we will be doing on the Tacos & Tastings trip in May. A small group of us will travel down to Baja California, Mexico, for three nights from May 29-June 1. We will have a whole day of wine tasting, a whole day of tequila and mezcal tasting, and multiple days of...tacos. I'm already licking my lips and looking forward to eating my fill of tacos.

Peach. Tequila. 😋

Have you ever tried peach tequila? It is some of *thee smoothest* tequila I have ever experienced. So good I bought the bottle. And I tried it at one of our Tacos and Tastings stops.

Soooooo, what is mezcal, anyway?

As part of the Tacos and Tastings trip, we will not only be doing tequila tastings, not only tasting wine, but also tasting mezcal. So what exactly is mezcal???

Mezcal, like it's cousin tequila, is made from the agave plant. But while tequila can only be produced in the Tequila region of Mexico from blue agave, mezcal can be made anywhere and is made with a variety of types of agave. It is usually made in Oaxaca.
