Upon entering the Magic Kingdom, you can find the Harmony Barber Shop, located to the left of the Emporium. Booking the experience ahead is recommended but not required! We waited in line when the park first opened and had almost no wait at all, I was pleasantly surprised!
If it’s your little one’s first haircut they’ll receive a certificate, a baggie with their first hair clippings and even souvenir Mickey ears- all for only $28! It was well worth it for me to be able to say Levi got his first haircut at Walt Disney World! 🥰

For those of you that don’t know, my momma passed away in 2019 from a hard fought battle with breast cancer.
When I found these pictures before my husband and I went on our trip to Disney World in 2021, I knew I had to “recreate” these moments- and I think they turned out pretty good!
Disney will always be special to our family and I’m so glad to have a place where families can go and make lifelong memories. 🤍
Honestly, I was very hesitant to take our son to Disney at such a young age in fear that we wouldn’t enjoy ourselves…
I thought of tackling his sleep schedule, feedings, the heat, etc…
After taking it all into consideration we decided to go anyways and I’m so glad we did because it was SO worth it. There’s nothing like seeing the {Disney} world through your little one’s eyes!
Plus my worries weren’t even an issue! He slept in his stroller while we walked around the Magic Kingdom, we stopped and fed him when he was hungry and we kept portable fans around us and found shade when needed. It was totally doable.
I feel like a lot of families have this same worry when planning a trip to WDW but I promise it’s manageable and most importantly it’s worth it!
I feel having experienced it first hand for myself now, I can help other parents who are wanting to plan a trip with their little ones (bonus- kiddos under 3 have free admission!)

Storybook Circus is a great place to take the kiddos for a cool down! 1. Dumbo the Flying Elephant- Okay so this ride may be in the heat, but once you get on and in the air, the breeze is so refreshing! Plus you get an awesome view of the castle 🫶🏼 2. Elephant Queue Playground- This area is in the queue of Dumbo the Flying Elephant. It’s a great playground area for the kids to blow off some steam while the adults can sit and cool down! 😊 3. Casey Jr.’s Splash ‘n Soak Station- I LOVE this area for my little guy. This was my first time and I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would! 🤗 The height requirement for this ride is 38” inches which means my 2 year old can ride it next time we go! ➡️ August 14th- October 5th ⬅️ Almost all of September (minus Labor Day weekend) is a great time to visit Disney World. The low crowds are due heavily to school starting back up, which makes it a great time for you & your family to swoop in and enjoy a less crowded park. ➡️ October 23rd- November 1st ⬅️ Minus Halloween Day, the latter half of October has relatively low crowds as well. A great time to visit & experience all the spooky decor in the parks! ➡️ December 1st-15th ⬅️ You would be surprised how low crowds are the first two weeks of December! Such a good time to visit- low crowds, cooler weather plus all the parks are decked out in Christmas decor. It’s a win-win-win!
