After a busy week back to work and reality it’s time for a vacation recap.

Spent a week in Dominical, Costa Rica with family. Enjoyed some amazing food, snorkeling, deep sea fishing and sunshine! Costa Rica has become one of my favorite counties to visit because of how safe it is, the locals are so friendly, and all of the amazing experiences it offers.

Had a delicious dinner at La Parcela; which honestly felt like a site right out of avatar, and got to hangout with some monkeys. Snorkeled with the Sea Turtles. Caught some fresh fish for dinner (or 5 dinners) And the time with family is always the best.

Day 23: Disney Cruise Line

Ever want to visit a new place but unsure of where to go? Disney cruise line can take you to a number of different countries all over the world- you can experience new cultures while still enjoying the Magic that Disney has to offer.

Disney Cruise Line has a number of itineraries you can pick from that sail to a number of locations including Alaska, the Bahamas, Mexico, the Caribbean, European countries, Hawaii, New Zealand and more!

Also coming in 2024 is Disney’s newest cruise ship the Disney Treasure. Its maiden voyage departs December 21, 2024 traveling to a number of locations in the Caribbean from Port Canaveral, Florida.

Day 18: Magic Bands

Probably my favorite accessory when visiting the Disney parks is my magic Band! What is a magic band you may ask? Well I’m here to tell you-

Magic bands are your room key, credit card, park ticket, genie+ swipe all in one compact wrist band.

Wanna grab a Mickey soft pretzel and charge it to your room? Tap your magic band. Ready doe your scheduled time at Space mountain? Tap your magic band? Don’t want to carry a wallet to hold your credit cards and room keys? Don’t worry- your magic band can hold all of those things and so much more!

Day 17: Genie Plus

Genie+ is the new fast pass when visiting Walt Disney World Parks. Using Genie+ can get you to the front of your favorite Disney attractions and while Genie+ isn’t always seen as being “user-friendly” when you book your Disney Trip with me - your personal Disney Specialist I can teach you all the ins-and-outs of utilizing and making the best of Genie+.

Day 16: Epcot Festivals

People run to Epcot to experience new foods, drinks and cultures from various countries around the world. Epcot also has various festivals throughout the year some of which being the Food and Wine Festival and the Flower and Garden Festival.

If you’ve been following my page for a while- you know one of my favorites is the Flower and Garden Festival. The topiaries are breathtaking- depictions of your favorite Disney characters scattered all throughout the park, and specialty food and drinks. It’s always a great time to go experience the beauty of the flowers and cool off with some refreshing adult beverages 😉

Day 15: Disney’s Special Events

Disney has special events that run different times of the year- Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas are two special ticketed events that happen in the fall and winter. These events are an additional charge but allow guests to experience the amazing decorations of the seasons, specialty food and drinks, and enjoy the parks with much smaller crowds.

Did you know? Disney offers extra magic hours for guests staying at specific Disney Resorts- these are extra park hours to allow guests of Walt Disney World Resorts to ride some of their favorite rides, and see some of their favorite attractions with much shorter wait times

I’ve never seen better fireworks than those at Disney. Whether it’s the fireworks behind the castle at Magic Kingdom, over the World Showcase at Epcot, or the magnificent water show Fantasmic! At Hollywood Studios- every show is amazing in its own way.

Day 10: Disney Photo Pass

I cannot stress this enough-SPEND THE MONEY and get the photo pass.

I purchased photo pass for the first time on my last trip to Disney. Ryan and I booked a long weekend to celebrate my birthday and honestly it was so worth it. I love looking back at these pictures and we will have them for a lifetime.

And to the ladies that have men that HATE getting their picture taken- if your man is anything like mine- knowing you spent extra money for the photo pass, he will be willing to stop and get his picture taken. 😅🤷🏽‍♀️😉
