Why is the state and existance of being unconditional love so difficult for us as humans. For brief moments we may exist inside this space of being unconditional love, however to be it fully always is not possible for almost all of Humanity.

In this state of being unconditional love, we face ourselves we face our fears, phobias, anxieties, judgments inside us etc.

It is only in moments of this state that we can truly grow if we are willing to let go and just be, allowing our consciousness to observe without judgement of ourselves or allowing our mind to hang onto anything. Because when that happens we fall out of this Divine consciousness and back into the mind and ego.

What is Vedanta and why is it so pushed in Sanatana Dharma?

Vedanta is Philosophy and more specifically the philosophy of an understanding around a certain understanding of the foundational scriptures / truths given by the Divine for us to exist in a more conscious pure state.

There are a few fundamental understandings:
1 - We are the Soul the Atma and the soul is encased inside this body, and through our relation with the material existence the soul is either completely shining through or is covered by the ego and layers of Maya and we exist away from our truth, this truth

2 - Our Souls go through a cycle of birth and death as we free ourselves (The Soul) from this sheath we put over ourselves with our choices in life and how we exist

3 - The Atma / Soul is always in Union with the Divine and there is never a moment it is not, and once we free ourselves from the Karma of our actions in life, we allow this truth to shine through.

There are a few more fundamental givens however this is where Vedanta comes in, and from this point an understanding comes in from the point of view from either a Guru or a teacher based on their realisation of the Divine or understanding based off of teachings they have studied and are now teaching. The teachings are generally aligned so you follow a certain path or Guru in life.

For a Guru / Master who has realised the freedom and greatness of the Soul, to impart teachings/understandings/knowledge is always a bitter-sweet experience. The infinite has to be confined to a finite understanding so the minds of the people can maybe practice to the point of going to the infinite. How to give someone the true beauty of a grain of sugar with writings in a book?

For someone who is teaching the teachings of course is always only limited by the level of depth they have dived into the infinite, not how many scriptures or pages etc they can recite. That is the same as a 5 Star Micheline chef vs someone who has memorised all the cookbooks in the world and is reciting them up to you.

This is the beauty of Kriya Yoga and the grace of Mahavatar Babaji, He is personally placing that grain of sugar in your mouth and allowing you to experience its truth. He is saying go beyond the teachings and fully experience the true nature of the Soul the Atma in this life, return to the Source and whether you believe this Vedanta or that Vedanta becomes irrelevant, Kriya Yoga is 99% practice/experience and 1% theory as the Divine union with the Atma is 100% experience.

Purity of thought word and deed is earned though conscious action moment by moment in our life. We may be able to fool others but the Divinity that sits inside us always knows the truth. 🙏

During the prayers over a few days and even sometimes for half a day it is said to fast or eat a certain grain or eat a certain amount. This is mainly to cleanse the body and the system, of course for some it's a mental challenge to eat less and more satvik food. Science and society has of course realized the benefits of fasting and it is common practice for so many to fast all the time or live a life with less food consumption continuously.

Today people need to fast from digital stimulation which continuously makes the mind engaged with stimulation, all the social media apps, all the streaming platforms etc. The mind and senses are always engaged, always stimulated somehow and simply sitting in meditation, simply being in the moment becomes difficult. It becomes a quick 5 minute experience I must do as opposed to a way of life that is beautiful. Meditation and being in the moment has become a teaching people sell to others another consumer product engaging us more and more in the material world, attaching us deeper and deeper to this existence of emotions and desires.

If only we realised that it's our true nature, it's who we are being in the space of the 3rd eye where our consciousness sits we would exist there instead of scrolling reels and shorts, and we would connect with our soul our true essence freeing ourselves from attachment and desires allowing true peace and happiness to manifest in us and then out from us changing the world around us.

The beauty and grace of having firstly the Darshan and secondly being able to serve the Lord in such an accessible way is a grace we can only comprehend when we understand how inaccessible the Darshan and service to the Lord in Temples is.

In Temples worldwide, only Priests serve the Deities and get close to them, people can offer various ingredients etc but always there is the Priest between the offering of the Deity and you.

Darshan is limited to specific times and then only for a few moments even counted in seconds. In Tirupati where Lord Venkateshvara lives, in an 8-hour period, they had 85000 pilgrims take Darshan in 1 day. Over 10000 per hour, roughly 166 per minute.

The simple grace to sit with the Lord and serve Him is always a blessing the heart yearns for in this life the question is are we to engrossed in the world to see the grace that exists right in front of us
